Our trip to Transfagarasan with Alin was perfect from start to finish! Alin is exceptionally friendly and shares a wealth of local knowledge during the trip. Actually, this tour was amazing! Alin picked us up straight from our hotel and dropped us back after – zero hassle. He's such a great storyteller, and he shared so many interesting facts about Romania along the way – history, culture, legends, you name it. The whole ride just flew by. And the scenery? Absolutely breathtaking! Winding roads carved right into the mountains, huge valleys below and lake. We stopped at a bunch of awesome viewpoints for pics and just stood there taking it all in. At the end we got to take the cable car down, gliding with incredible views the whole way, and Alin was already waiting for us at the bottom. Seriously unforgettable – if you're thinking about it, just book it!
We spent the day with Alin on a private tour and couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly very passionate about Romania, which really brought the experience to life. Part of the road is closed at this time of year due to snow, so we took the cable car up instead — which was a great experience with stunning views at the top. Just make sure to wear proper snow boots as it’s very snowy up there! Overall, a fantastic day with a genuinely lovely guide. Highly recommend.
Had an amazing day even though the weather was against us and we did not get the views we were hoping for. Alin was very knowledgeable and made this a lovely day. On a clear day this trip will be out of this world !

Great experience it ended up just being my mom and I and he was able to accommodate for us. The drive from Brasov was easy and the views on the highway spectacular. We had lots of great conversations and he provided some great local tips.
Had a really great time exploring! Alin is a great tour guide and knows a lot about the area and Romania in general. How communication was quick and clear leading up to the tour. Would 100% recommend!
