Excellent service. Went to three different cities with free lunch. It was worth the price.
I booked a small group tour departing from the center of Florence. The day before I rec'd a text informing me it was a large group (50 person bus tour) leaving from the end of the tram line on the outskirts of Florence. I wanted to cancel and book with another company but with such short notice everything was sold out. The departure spot was a bus depot which seemed to be a park and ride. Commuters park here and take the tram into Florence. Doing this was both time consuming and inconvenient. In general, the bus does not drop you close to any site your visiting. The guide in San Geminiano had a private client scheduled so she rushed our large group using listening headsets that were so full of static you couldn't understand anything she was saying. That was a waste. In Pisa from the bus drop-off to the tower was a 15-20 minute walk. The guide told us, as an alternative, we could purchase tram tickets for 7 euros r/t but with cash only no credit cards. Luckily, we had cash but unfortunately some people did not. No mention of this in any of the tour descriptions. Upon return to the depot about 7:30 pm we needed to take the tram back to Florence which added another half hour to a long day.
The 3 cities were great to visit, they were beautiful! However, there was not enough time to really enjoy the 3 of them! We felt rushed. We had no time to go into museums. We would have rather gone to just 2 cities, and save going to the 3rd city for another tour. The highlights of the tour was the Vineyard/farm visit with lunch & tastings, seeing the leaning tower of Pisa, and learning a little of the history of the cities.

Guide walked very fast. Many of us lagged behind ( about 15 of us). We learned little about where we visited. Leonard’s English is ok if you are near him and watching attentively but many of his words we couldn’t make out. He gave little history over the intercoms of the bus or people were talking too loud to hear. He definitely needs to slow his pace and speak slower, please Leonardo. This trip is all steep hills.

Knowing the cities of Siena, San Gimignano, and Pisa was a wonderful experience!! The Leaning Tower of Pisa is enchanting! The landscapes along the way are beautiful and we also had an authentic Italian lunch. The guide Marco was very attentive and made the trip even better. I hope to come back again!!
