The guide speaks both Spanish and English. Explain well and be pleasant and attentive. It was so nice to see the wonderful view in person. Especially the cave experience was the best. Strength recommended !!!!

I want to express my gratitude for the excellent experience I had during my visit to the Grutas de Tolantongo with Amigos Tour. From the beginning, everything was perfectly organized and the schedules were met punctually, which allowed us to enjoy every moment to the fullest. A very special recognition for our guide, Mariana, who demonstrated great professionalism, kindness, and organization. It was evident that she had everything planned and was always attentive to the group, making the journey very pleasant and without setbacks. The Tolantongo Caves are simply a wonderful place, with spectacular landscapes that exceed any expectations. Without a doubt, it is a destination that everyone should visit at least once. Something that I truly loved and that made a difference was that, for the first time on a tour, the stops were made at small, humble local businesses, where the prices were fair and the service from the people was exceptional. It feels like, in addition to offering a great experience to tourists, they also support local communities. In summary, it was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Amigos Tour and, especially, Mariana as a guide. Everything was spectacular, and I would repeat this trip without thinking twice!

Be aware that the site is quite far from Mexico City in Hidalgo. With that said if you are interested in seeing the springs it is quite breathtaking and worth the drive. They pick you up and take you there and let you spend a long time there. It’s beautiful. The caves are a little claustrophobic but be prepared.

I had an absolutely incredible experience at the hot springs today! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. First, our driver Juan was phenomenal — friendly, punctual, and made the entire ride smooth and enjoyable. He set the tone for an amazing day. Once we arrived, our instructors took things to the next level. It was Alfonzo’s first time, but you NEVER would’ve guessed it — he was calm, confident, and absolutely amazing. He explained everything clearly, made us feel safe, and kept the energy fun the whole time. Major shoutout to him! And Daniel? Absolutely incredible as well. Super knowledgeable, encouraging, and clearly passionate about what he does. He made the experience feel personalized and unforgettable. Overall, the whole team made this one of the best excursions I’ve ever been on. 10/10 — highly recommend Tulumongo! They deserve all the hype. I’ll definitely be coming back! 🌟🔥🌿

Very fun. Marianna and Danny were very joyful tour guides. We went from 5:30 AM to 7:30 PM and the tunnel was my favorite part.

The company sold seats in the last row of the transfer where there was no window or comfortable place for the hours of travel we had. The transportation company was a disaster.
