Portugal cancelled
Be aware that the tours can be cancelled on short notice. The notice will come on various platforms. We had our first tour cancelled at 9pm prior to an 8am departure. We were rescheduled for a 1:30pm departure which was cancelled (via WhatsApp) at 11:21 am. These late cancellations did not allow us to make alternative plans as local tours were booked.

As this hiking activity takes place outdoors and depends heavily on weather conditions, we closely monitor the forecast to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants. Unfortunately, the latest forecast predicted heavy rain and thunderstorms, which could make the trails unsafe and significantly affect the overall experience.
For these reasons, we decided to cancel the activity rather than proceed under unsuitable weather conditions

It was a very fun and...
It was a very fun and inspiring tour. It felt such a local experience full of surprises and beautiful moments. The wine tasting, the local restaurant we visited and our tour guide were the highlights of this tour. I really recommend it to everyone and I will definitely join again next time I am around the city of Porto.

Great surprise for lunch.
Nice hike through vineyards and olive groves. Stop for a snack at lovely cafe at the Pinhao train station. Our lunch was a terrific multi-course offering with red & white & port wines at a private quinta (estate) where we got to see a real, live grape stomping! What a great experience.

Due to the weather, the hiking tour was canceled.
BTW the tour agency arranged us to winery tour and it’s great.

Don’t miss the Duoro
Our guide, Juoan, was incredible and gave us one of our most memorable tours. We were scheduled for a different tour that had to be cancelled and this was wonderful. The Duoro valley is a must do for anyone visiting Porto. We had a great group of people and our guide and vintners made it just perfect!! We had delicious local wine and food and a special surprise guitar serenade by our guide. Multi talented and wanted to do anything to make us comfortable. The only drawback is there were 8 people in a van and it was extremely tight. Would be perfect for 6, but I think they tried to accommodate us and glad they did!!

Gorgeous countryside!
Really lovely tour of the gorgeous Douro Valley wine region. Our guide André was amazing and taught us all about the history and culture of the region, and of course the wine making process. The food and drink provided were absolutely delicious! It was a very memorable fun day. I would definitely recommend this tour 😊

Our guide was...
Our guide was knowledgeable about the history and landscape of the Duoro region. Excellent hike. I would recommend this tour for old and young alike.

Go for hike and picnic. Skip the cruise
Great view hiking from top of the vineyards down to Douro river. Picnic was great. More than enough food.
Those with knee issue may want to bring walking sticks. Skip river cruise during peak season as it was way too crowded

Lovely Hike
I thoroughly enjoyed the hike. The scenery was beautiful. Miguel was very entertaining as a guide. I would recommend for a solo traveller like myself.
