Very nice experience! The show in the dome was good, the fantasy+music part trippy fun, and the presentation in the planezarium room was really well made and interesting. After that, we were able to observe the stars through four telescopes. Don't miss.

The Cusco Planetarium is a newish and scrappy operation, run by people who truly love astronomy and want to share it. There's an interesting presentation and a cool planetarium-style show, but without a doubt the highlight was actually getting to look through telescopes to see stars and planets.

We had a private session with Anna Maria and she gave a beautiful presentation about Inkan astronomy and Peruvian climatology and highlighted the differences between northern and southern skies. We were also lucky enough to be able to see the faint shadow of the Milky Way despite being right outside the city center. Highly recommended for those who are looking for an interesting but less strenuous activity while you acclimate to the altitude. She was passionate about her work and the world needs more scientists like the folks to keep the operation going.

The facilities are gorgeous, and every detail—from the seamless hotel pickup and drop-off to the thoughtful presentation was handled beautifully. What impressed us most was their incredible knowledge and genuine passion for sharing Peru’s rich, lengthy, and wonderfully diverse history through the stars. The presentation was fascinating, entertaining, and engaging, and we were captivated from beginning to end. It gave us a completely new appreciation for the connection between the Andean people, the cosmos, and their ancient traditions. You can tell how much they love what they do, and that passion made the experience truly special. We highly recommend Cusco Planetarium to anyone visiting Cusco. Truly an experience you should not miss!

I was unsure how this tour would be. I am so happy I took the tour. The guides at the planetarium are amazing and bring the experience to life. Guides consistently were checking the telescopes to make sure we were viewing the correct thing. Overall an amazing experience.

Good experience in the dome learning about constellations and the southern hemisphere with The Black Llama constellation! Good length for the visit! Very atmospheric! Not a so big crowd so nice! Staff were doing a comedy like explanation ! It is best for observing Venus and seeing the constellations and understanding them!

This is an excellent well run family planetarium! The staff are all knowledgeable and really teach you about stars, constellations, and the Inka history attached to it all.

The Cusco Planetarium was a really interesting experience and a great way to learn about the skies of Peru and how the Incas understood the stars. The guides were funny, engaging, and made the whole presentation entertaining while still sharing a lot of information. I learned much more than I expected about astronomy, Inca constellations, and the night sky over Cusco. The combination of education, humor, and stargazing made for a memorable evening. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Cusco and want something a little different from the usual tourist attractions!

Such an incredible experience! Joanna and Sasha were both hilarious and very informative. The entire staff was kind and even provided a step stool (without us asking) so that my son could see the telescopes. Would absolutely do it again! Such a sweet family business.
