Unique and unforgettable experience. Perfect complement if you have no plans for the night in Arequipa, ideal for going as a family! The explanation from Gabriel and the entire Stellarium team was excellent.

An amazing experience that I would absolutely recommend. We went at 7:30pm, which meant that we had the chance that we could still see Venus. Our guide Gabriel explained the different phenomena very clearly, and always helped us identifying them in the telescope. Plus, since the observatory is right in the historic center and the visit is only an hour, we didn't have to plan much travel time to fit this in our day.

Then you go up to the telescopes, but the guide's English was bad. Translate is just open and the shapes with the stars he just finds with the mobile. Then at the end you can scan a QR code for professional photos and it turns out that there are only photos of September that are given to everyone like this. A scam, then. In addition, they also try to bribe people who have posted bad reviews.
It is something you cannot miss if you are near the Arequipa square!✨️ I would recommend it for any age from 6 years old and up, especially the observatory💫✨️ Recommendation: have the Stellarium app installed beforehand so that you can observe better than what the guide explains 💫✨️✨️Very prepared :3 💫✨️

It was my first trip to a planetarium. Ruth was very patient in explaining the different star formations. She also gave us the opportunity to choose a star which she duly showed us.
