We had an absolutely amazing tour with Nadia. She was so so knowledgeable and patient. I made the entire trip enjoyable and we understood a lot of the history.

It was quite hot and we almost didn't make the climb up the stairs but so glad we did. Our guide Sandra was amazing. She took care of everyone in our group and was extremely knowledgeable She made a very complicated tour simple to understand.

Chiara took us on a tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, St Peter Basilica and the Dome climb. And it was amazing. Chiara is so knowledgeable about the history of the Vatican as well as all the artwork. She is so personable and took such good care of the group, checking in to see how we were doing and making sure no one gets left behind. I absolutely loved this tour because of Chiara. I felt like I was walking through the Vatican with a friend. Thank you for such a special day Chiara! My husband and I will never forget it.

This 2-part tour took us through every bit of the Vatican from the top of St Peter’s Basilica Dome through the museums and Sistine Chapel and down into the Papal tombs. Our guide Sandra was friendly and charismatic and she shared countless facts and history through it the experience. Sandra managed the audio technology and our tickets once we entered through the main entrance. There was a LOT to see and discover but she kept us engaged and educated throughout, offering bathroom and water breaks as needed. This was my second visit to the Vatican and this tour far exceeded my last self-guided experience. Yes, you can purchase admission on your own for less money, but having a real guide to interact with is invaluable. Highly recommend this experience all history and art lovers, even if you aren’t religious. The Basilica’s murals alone are a sight to behold. Definitely worth exploring during your Rome visit.

The is an excellent tour and if you happen to get Nadya as your guide, you'll truly enjoy it. She is brimming with knowledge and her presentation and execution keeps the day interesting and the transition through each gallery at the Vatican Museum seamless. I have to admit, however, that I wasn't quite prepared for the 400 step climb to the dome top at the Basilica. It is so well worth it when you reach the top because the views are incredible, but it's hot and the steps and passageway is very narrow, so be prepared! The other thing is that while this tour is very well organized and executed, if I had to do it all again. I'd do the Basilica and Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel tours separately. Together, it's exhausting and alot to take in, even though they give you an hour break between them. But, that's just my opinion, and maybe that's because we happened to be there on one of the hottest days of the year. Nevertheless, it's a great tour and I highly recommend.

What a fabulous tour! The meeting spot was easy to find. Our guide was fantastic. If you are looking for a complete and thorough tour of St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums, look no further. Italia Tours did a great job and this was one of the best tours we’ve done through Viator hands down. The dome climb offering the chance to see the mosaics up close and the views of Rome, St. Peter’s Square and the Vatican grounds from the very top of the dome are worth the climb. Amazing. There is so much to see in the Vatican museums that you just can’t see it all in one tour, but this tour does a great job showing you some of the biggest highlights in the museum like Nero’s bathtub, the countless marble sculptures, the sarcophagus of Elena, mother of Alexander the Great and so much more. The tour of St. Peter’s is amazing and it is very unique to go down to the Papal catacombs and see St. Peter’s Tomb and the only paintings in the entire church. This is a must do in Rome. Don’t miss it!

This tour is a fantastic tour of the basilica, the Papal catacombs to see St. Peter's Tomb, and of the dome closeup. The climb up to the top of the dome's copula offers one-of-a-kind views of Rome, St. Peter's Square, and the Vatican grounds. The meeting points are easy to find and our guide, Marina, was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour. It's a must!

Excellent communication of meeting spot, very informative guide. It was a VERY hot day in Rome, but our 5 hour tour included a break in local lounge with AC, water, coffee and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend!

We literally ran after the guide in the Vatican museum! Did not have a chance to see even 5% of the art. Absolutely not worth it, we will redo this museum in our own.

This tour was "divided" into two tours. The first part of the tour was fantastic, our guide Anatasia was great, very engaging and informative as she took us through St. Peter's. The second part of the tour through the Vatican museums was conducted by guide Enzo was a large disappointment. He focused on things he liked and left most of bored and almost all of his group abandoning him before the official end. Not sure why this tour had to be split, it wasted an hour in the middle of the alloted time, and I truly wish we would have had Anastasia for the whole time.
