All good but the lady who met us at the train was exceptionally helpful. I had trouble with my email but she persisted and made sure I got my train tickets.

Im being nice by giving it 2 stars really. The tour Guide was nice, on time, knowledgeable, intelligent and informative. Everywhere was easy to find. However, she didn’t take us to see the brothel, the museum At Pompeii or the bodies. She even said herself that those are the most Famous things that everyone wants to see but she wouldn’t let us see it. We asked twice to stop and get souvenirs but she said we didn’t have time. So I drove 12 hours to the airport, flew 11 hours, walked 45 minutes to train, rode train for hour and a half the s Bus for 30 min, then walked in the heat for 2 hours only to not see the bodies, brothel, and the museum And didn’t even have a sticker or t-shirt to bring home. It was so depressing and such a let down. But they took hundreds of dollars for our family of 4. I think I paid $1200. I could have cried. This company took advantage of us and didn’t take into consideration what I sacrificed to NOT see what I dreamed of seeing for 30 years. There were so many things we saw and had no explanation and tons of places she skipped. The meal Was TERRIBLE. I tried 4 different dishes. Service was excellent though. But we left hungry. Driver did a great job. I deserve a partial refund though.

Fantastic experience with a very knowledgeable guide. Perfect from start to finish and worth the price. Lunch was included and was excellent too

An amazing experience- so glad that we booked this trip We were met at Termini and shown how to get on the train, there were some changes to times but this was all handled smoothly. Once we got to Naples we split up and a group of 8 of us went off with our guide to visit both sites. The knowledge and passion of our guide was amazing I really felt we had a unique experience. Lunch was good and the whole day was perfect from start to finish!

This is an amazing experience! We learned so much more from our guide than we would have just walking thru ourselves. In addition, lunch was delicious!

The tours to Pompeii and Herculaneum were very good. Our guide (Eleonora or Paola, I’m not quite sure which is correct. Sorry.) was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She provided a good mix of background information and a little humor, that made for an interesting time. Loved it! Another thing I really appreciated was ItaliaTours’ logistics. Directions to the meeting points, along with pictures, ensured we knew where to go and who to look for. The rail stations are super busy, and the guides navigated us to our trains and into our seats. It made for a stress-free experience.

Our guide was fantastic, as an archaeologist who has worked at the site and a native Pompeiian she is a the perfect person for this adventure. Her love of history and Pompeii were reflected in her information. She made sure to include our 9 and 11 year old grandsons in discussions which was made us appreciate her even more.

What can I say, brilliant day! We were met at the train station, taken to the train, when we arrived in Naples just a little over an hour later, our guide was waiting for us, a short coach ride to Pompeii, our guide took us around, was extremely knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. After our tour we had a lovely 3 course lunch in a lovely restaurant before another coach ride to Herculaneum, again our guide was brilliant, full of knowledge etc. At the end of the tour, coach back to the station, where we broaded our train back to Rome. So pleased I booked this tour, would highly recommend. Thank you, we loved it as a family and thought it was well worth the money 🥰

This was the best tour we went on during my 2 week Europe trip. The instructions were easy to follow and the tour guides were easy to find. Everything was taken care of and we just got to sit back and enjoy! Our tour guide was amazing and we learned so much. She showed us as much as possible in the time we had. Lunch was amazing and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this tour. Pompeii and Herculaneum were the most fascinating places we visited.
