Lovely visit to Neuschwanstein with John. We had beautiful weather for late September…definitely dress in layers. You have the option off paying 3.50 euros for the shuttle up to the castle or 8.00 euros for the horse drawn carriage ride. Views were incredible throughout the train ride in Bavaria. The castle interiors were magnificent.
The guide was excellent - very knowledgeable, flexible and helpful. One of the best guides I’ve seen. Unfortunately am disappointed that the train was not working and we had to in a small bus. It worked in the end but the cost of the trip was very expensive.
Everything was exactly as promised! Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. We had a great group, comfortable transportation, and everything was very well organized. A truly memorable experience and a wonderful day. Highly recommended!
Charlie was an amazing guide, providing interesting information along the way, without overwhelming his group. He was very conscientious about his tour group and checked in regularly with everyone to ensure they were all comfortable and enjoying the pace of the day. Although our train situation was cancelled, the company quickly arranged a small bus which was perfect for our small group. The pace of the tour was just right and the castle and surroundings were beautiful. The tour was worth every dollar.

Absolutely fantastic day! The castle trip was one of the highlights of our time in Bavaria. Everything was well organized, the scenery was incredible, and the whole experience was even better than we expected. A special mention to John, who was amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely made the day so much more enjoyable. He gave us just the right amount of history and context without ever making it feel like a lecture.
