This was the absolute perfect excursion to do prior to embarking on our cruise. Joau, our guide was so great. He was super knowledgeable about Barcelona and very personable. He showed us so much in our limited time and provided really good insights into Barcelona history & culture. In part because of Joau, we all want to return to Barcelona.

My wife and I only had one day to see Barcelona. After researching our options we determined the best and most efficient way would be to hire a private tour with Barcelona Day Tours. We were not disappointed. Our tour guide and driver were fabulous. They were so knowledgeable and friendly that it made our trip memorable. Our half day tour went very well! Joao was our driver/guide and took great care of my elderly parents and me. We had plenty of time to see the sights without rushing before the airport. We didn't want to walk too much as we were already tired from our cruise, but we were able to see many sights from simply driving around, with a few times to stop and take pictures per our request. We did the Barcelona Highlights Half-Day Small Group Shared Tour before embarking on our cruise. It was an excellent highlights tour and a great way to see all of Barcelona’s major sights in just half a day. The van was comfortable, our driver was professional, and our tour guide was very informative. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly. One great benefit is that they offer pickup and drop-off at the airport, cruise terminal, or your hotel. If you schedule this as your first or last activity in Barcelona, you can combine sightseeing with your transfer and save yourself a taxi fare. Overall, a very convenient and efficient way to see the highlights of Barcelona, especially before or after a cruise.

My family and I booked this tour to get in all the big sites in Barcelona in one day and Anade (our driver) and Christine (our tour guide) did not disappoint. Since it was a private tour, we had requested to visit Park Guell and Sagrada Familia including going up the towers as part of our tour. We were able to get through everything we wanted to see in 8 hours. Christine took us all around Barcelona, passing by Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, Camp Nou, seeing the whole of Barcelona from the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya. It was a great way to see the city within a day, allowing us to figure out where we wanted to go and see next. Also having hotel pick up and drop off was perfect, as we didn't have to worry about navigating to a pick up point. The AC'd van was another bonus, as it was very warm on the day of our tour. So coming back to AC and being driven to our next stop provided some rest in between sites. We all had a great time!

We had a private tour from Barcelona to Begur. We stopped at Tossa de Mar and Girona on the way. Our guide Marta was fabulous, interesting and knowledgeable. Our driver Alex was considerate and a great driver. Absolutely worth the money.

Our guide was excellent. They picked us up from NCL and we had a 4 hour tour. We saw so much in the 4 hours it was amazing.

We actually booked both a full days private tour Barcelona and Montserrat and a half day tour of Barcelona. "Christian the Germin" was our guide/driver and he was great. He was very good at hearing ours desires and preferences and tailoring things to best address them. He knew a lot of history as well as ways to see things and avoid crowds to the extent possible. While driving, he would stop and let us take photos or alert us that it was a location he coud not stop but we could prepare and take photos from the car. He was quite considerate of tailoring the tour to accomodate some bad knees. In addition to the things I had heard about and wanted to see, he also suggested others that he thought would interest us. A highlight was a market. When they started to plan some renovations, they discovered some very significant roman ruins under it. It is know a free museum of those ruins and is absolutely fascinating.

We flew into Barcelona and Christian, our guide from Barcelona Day Tours, was there at the airport waiting for us. He took us on a four hour tour around the city and tailored our tour to places that we didn't already have pre-booked tickets for, so that we could see even more of Barcelona during our few days there. The tour was great, Christian was great, and we highly recommend Barcelona Day Tours to anyone travelling to Barcelona. They had great communication with us too.
