Deyvis did an outstanding job hitting the highlights of the Museum, keeping a good pace and giving us relevant details that tied the history to what we were seeing. Deyvis knowledge of both the content and techniques made his tour very enjoyable. I feel I saw the best pieces in a minimal amount of time.
We loved this tour. The guide had a thought out plan for what she wanted to show us and talk about. It was so much better getting information about the paintings rather than wandering aimlessly, not knowing what we were looking at. There was time after the tour to wander.
Enjoyable visit but be aware “beat the queue” only means you enter through another entrance. In our case - this meant being in line behind a school trip of 100 teenagers all with backpacks that had to be taken off them before they could be let in!
Glad El Prado has learned lessons from the Louvre chaos and banned all photos and videos inside the galleries. Now you can actually see the paintings up close and personal without being jostled by selfie-taking tourists. Temi (hope I spelled that correctly) was an excellent guide, offering history of the various artists and their benefactors. Most striking to me were the paintings by Velasquez, Goya, and El Greco. An excellent way to spend a leisurely and informative afternoon.

His passion for art and deep understanding of the collection made the experience both educational and enjoyable. The tour was well-paced, informative, and tailored perfectly to the group. We learned far more than we would have by exploring on our own, and we left with a much greater appreciation for the Prado and its incredible works.
