Absolutely wonderful day‑long small‑group tour from Christchurch to Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo! It was a long day on the road, and photo stops at key viewpoints were relatively short. Luckily we got brilliant sunny weather — every single shot turned out stunning without any filter at all . Huge credit to our awesome driver‑guide: Brad! He did an incredible multi‑tasking job. His driving was incredibly smooth and skillful, which gave us total peace of mind. While behind the wheel, he kept sharing fascinating local insights and stories along the way, and it’s really impressive how he could deliver great commentary while navigating these scenic roads so well . This tour packs a huge amount into one day and covers all the iconic must‑see spots. It is perfect for travellers like us who cannot drive but still want to experience all these amazing highlights efficiently. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the South Island!

This was a spectacular experience; we got very lucky with the weather, with barely a cloud in the sky. I planned the trip well, and our knowledgeable, flexible driver made it clear there were opportunities on the way back to stop in places like Fairlie to check out the award-winning bakery. Cheeky Kiwi felt like an excellent operator, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again if I were back in the country.

My wife and I joined the Mt Cook & Lake Tekapo Small Group Tour, and it was easily one of the highlights of our travels. The small group setting made the entire journey feel comfortable, relaxed, and personalized. Our tour guide, Grant, was exceptional. He kept us entertained and informed with great local insights, drove safely, and made sure we hit all the best photo spots at both Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook. I had a wonderful time yesterday on the tour! Thank you to Grant, who did an awesome job. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information and stories with us throughout the drive, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We were very lucky with the weather and got to see the beautiful mountains, especially Mt Cook—it was absolutely stunning! 🏔️❤️ Overall, it was a great tour, with plenty of snacks and drinks and toilets😁I’m very happy with the tour and had such a wonderful day! 😊

A great day out and wel organised. The weather was against us as we left Christchurch but the sun came out and ensured this was a spectacular trip. Renee kept us entertained with local knowledge along the way. A long day but worth every minute.

I appreciated Rosie’s sense of punctuality. She was very informative along the way to Mt Cook and was accommodating to our needs. An experienced guide and an excellent driver! Grant is a great and considerate tour guide/ driver . We have an enjoyable trip and learned a lot from a knowledgeable guide.

Paul is very helpful, and I truly value his opinion and knowledge. Better allow a few more minutes at both lakes to get photographs.

Had such a great day going to Tekapo and Mt. Cook. I was worried about the weather and the drive time when I checked but it turned out to be a beautiful day and well worth the drive. Grant was a great tour guide and knew so much about the geography and history of everything we were passing and had the answers to every question that was asked. I would definitely recommend this tour and Grant to anyone who comes to Christchurch!
