I had a really fun time at Yakitori Isao! Mr. Isao told me all about the process of cutting, skewering, and grilling the meat and vegetables. He also told me about the special charcoal they use!
This was a really fun and unique local experience, off the beaten path of the usual tourist spots in the area. Thank you Isao!

A hidden gem! Fantastic experience in Kobe
We had an absolutely fantastic time doing the Yakitori Isao Experience in Kobe. The whole experience was so fun and maintain and grilling all the skewers was great. Isao was wonderful explaining as we went along.

Great experience in Kobe

Unique and delicious Yakitori-making experience!!
My friends and I went to Isao Yakitori for the Real Yakitori Experience during our trip to Kobe and had an amazing time! Isao used extremely high quality ingredients and allowed us behind the counter to prepare and grill our own yakitori under his careful instructions. We truly enjoyed this unique and enlightening glimpse into an underrated Japanese cooking tradition. Altogether the experience cost 22,000 yen each, which included a generous amount of food and drinks. Highly recommend, especially for people who can't eat raw fish, pork, etc.
We hope we'll be able to come back next time we are in Japan!!

Personal, straightforward, delicious cooking and dining experience
Easy to follow yakitori cooking experience, came out really tasty! We prepared a few different skewers and a fried onigiri (unexpectedly really delicious) and got to to try a good range of cuts made by the master. The sake tasting experience afterwards was surprising too - I didn't know different Japanese sake could differ in flavour so much. Easy recommendation for anyone visiting Kobe who's interested in proper Japanese food and how it's made.

Fun and delicious!!
I came here with a friend from work and we had so much fun! It was nice to learn the proper way to skewer the ingredients and how to grill them.
We were given clear instructions and how to do everything and there was a various range of ingredients, too.
After we learnt how to cook the skewers and friend onigiri, we got to eat them and they were delicious! I would definitely come back with a group for a fun night out!
The staff were so friendly and explained everything very well.
