I had a wonderful experience touring Kobe with Kodai as our guide. As a local student, he provided a unique perspective on the city that made the tour both engaging and authentic. We’ve done 7 tours in Japan and this was by far our favorite. Our guide was Kodai who worked with us to customize our ideal tour which was unlike any other experience. It truly felt like we were hanging out with an old friend. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and history and had an answer for every question. He checked in throughout the tour to ensure we got all the souvenirs, snacks, and breaks we needed. We love Pokémon so he took us to all the TCG stores in the area and helped us find the cards we were looking for. He even called around to help us find a specific souvenir from a local shop. He went above and beyond to give us the most fun and unique tour experience we’ve had in Japan. If you could only pick one tour, it should be this one!

Kodai was a spectacular guide. From helping us navigate Kobe and surrounding areas. It was very patient, professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We were able to maneuver, the trains and an occasional taxi when my husband got tired. We were able to cover local markets, temples, castles and an amazing lunch at a local spot. He was very kind made a reservation for us. He is well informed, and I highly recommend his tours.
