OMG…what a fantastic Italian experience
It’s a must do activity if you have time in Civitavecchia.
We were truly made welcome into such a beautiful family home and the kitchen to learn the authentic Italian way of how to make Tiramisu, amazing Pesto and pasta. It truly was not rushed and fully hands on experience. Never thought I’d pick up some new skills on this vacation!
Our special thanks have to go to our hosts Georgiana, & Zia for making our experience such a fun and memorable thing to do together.
We learnt so much and we will certainly be practicing our new skills when we get back home. Grazie mille, amiamo l'Italia!
I highly recommend to anyone (individuals couples, families) on doing this superb activity.

More than a cooking class
This felt like having lunch at your Italian aunt's house. Lots of laughs, great music, hands-on cooking and amazing food. Zia's tiramisu is unforgettable. Perfect for couples or families.

Authentic home cooking
If you want a commercial restaurant class, don't book this. If you want to learn how a real Italian nonna cooks at home, this is it. Zia's home is warm and welcoming, her recipes are family recipes, not restaurant menus. Unforgettable!

A must-do experience
If you want real home cooking, book this. Zia showed us everything step by step - from the dough to the perfect ravioli fold. Her home is so cozy and welcoming. We ate everything we made and it was incredible.

A Fun Local Evening
A perfect, fun evening in Civitavecchia! The grilled zucchini bruschetta, eggplant, cheese, tagliatelle,wine and tiramisu were all outstanding. We laughed, cooked and ate so well! Highly recommended

Wonderful Evening in Civitavecchia
Such a lovely and authentic evening.
Casa di Zia e Zio made us feel at home immediately. We enjoyed learning about Italian ingredients, cooking fresh pasta and sharing dinner together in such a beautiful setting. The truffle bruschetta was a real highlight, along with the delicious Barolo cheese and grilled vegetables. We left full, happy and with wonderful memories of Civitavecchia.

So Much More Than Cooking
UNFORGETTABLE!
This was not just a cooking class, it felt like being welcomed into an Italian home for dinner. We learned how to make pasta, tasted beautiful local ingredients and enjoyed a relaxed evening full of laughter. The grilled eggplant and bruschetta with 25-year-aged balsamic were out of this world . The meal, wine, the live piano and tiramisu made the evening even more special. We highly recommend to everyone!

A Food Lover’s Dream
Come hungry! this is a real Italian feast. Every course was delicious and made with such care. Our favourites were the truffle bruschetta, grilled eggplant, stracchino cheese and the amazing aged balsamic. We made fresh pasta together and finished with tiramisu . This is perfect for anyone who wants an authentic, hands-on Italian food experience.

Must to do in Civitavecchia
I booked this experience to learn how to make authentic pasta, but it turned into something much deeper A Casa di Zia & Zio.
Cooking alongside others in a real home, with Zio playing piano in the background, created an atmosphere I’ve never experienced before. It was soulful, delicious, and unforgettable.
