This was a highlight for our trip. The young lady working with us was very knowledgeable. She guided us the through the whole process and made things easy for 2 not so artistic people. We created a beautiful piece with kind and patient guidance. 0

10/10 activity
I had such a great time making my own glass turtle! I was a little worried it wouldn’t be very hands on but I did a lot of the sculpting and coloring which was SO fun. My teacher was very knowledgable and i felt very comfortable right from the start. It was a little tricky to find the studio so i’d recommend following your GPS. If you’re looking for something to do upcountry on Maui, I highly recommend this experience, it was right up there with the whale watch for my favorite activity!

Amazing glass blowing experience
We always try to have a different adventure on each trip to Maui. This trip we signed up to have a glass blowing class with Glass Experience Maui and had a fantastic time. Our instructors, Jake and Olivia were amazing. They took us step-by-step to create our own memento of the event. They were fun, patient, knowledgeable and made sure that we had a great time. I highly recommend this experience. You will not regret it!

Amazing hands-on experience to remember
In anticipation of a rainy day on Maui, we decided to book a glass blowing experience for the hubby and our 17 year old daughter. We actually stumbled into Makai Maui Glass a few days earlier. We booked a two-person class and got assigned Emmy as the instructor. The family had an amazing experience creating a drinking glass. Emmy was skilled, encouraging, and simultaneously made sure the glass was formed while allowing sufficient participation. The family is sooooo excited about picking up their glass after it’s done annealing.

A pricey but unique experience
We spent a couple hours with Gabe learning to flame bend glass into our most expensive Christmas ornament ever, but it was a wonderful experience to share with my wife on our 20th anniversary. It was also great just to watch their pros making cool stuff at the experience and the Makai studio 100yards away. 4 stars mainly due to cost.

Glassblowing is a very unique and hands on process and we do our best to make it as engaging and memorable as possible while working with a skilled team and specialized equipment.
