A Memorable Ride Back in Time With an Outstanding Guide
We thoroughly enjoyed our Grand Tour in a little red Yugo with Luka, an exceptional guide who is attuned to the needs of his guests. Luka balanced essential historical information with contemporary issues and glimpses into his own life growing up in Belgrade. From poking around Tito's well-preserved blue train to admiring the view from the rebuilt Avala Tower, we had an unforgettable time on a tour that exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Luka!

Best way to experience Belgrade
I booked the architecture tour with the addition of Tito’s blue train. As a solo guest, not cheap but well worth it. My guide, Alex, had personal and extensive knowledge of Serbia’s history and the wider Balkan area. He balanced the tour content with responding to all my questions. I wanted to gain an understanding of the complex history of the region, and who better from than someone who lived through it.
The Yugo was a pleasure to ride in, and behaved perfectly. The variety of stops demonstrated the range of architecture the city has, and it was put into historical context excellently. Alex has a genuine passion for giving the tours, and this was evident throughout. The blue train was my highlight, seeing it up close and seeing who had previously ridden it, really brought the history to life. I ended the tour with a deeper knowledge and appreciation of the city and country.

History and architecture from a real Belgrade resident
Great fun, really knowledgeable guide (hey Jelena!) who gave us a real personal take on recent history and the whole Yugo story. Easy way to see the New Belgrade sights.

The perfect tour!
Being a travel agent, I've taken lots of guided tours worldwide. Some were great, some were regular, some were disappointing. And YugoTour certainly ranked among the best ones, probably in my top 3 guided tours of all times. Luka was our guide, and what a talented, passionate and knowledgeable professional he is! We asked for a mix between the architecture tour and the rise and fall of Yugoslavia tour. Andjela (the lady with whom we exchanged emails before the tour) and Luka went above and beyond to make sure we had the tour the way we planned. Being in one of the famous blocks was very impressive, and listening to all the history told by our guide gave us a deeper understanding of what Serbia is today and what Yugoslavia used to be. The visit to Yugoslavia museum and the House of Flowers worked like a great history lesson.
It was a complete and very nice tour. Even with all the heavy history, Luka made our tour very enjoyable and relaxing. We had some great conversations and a nice cultural exchange. And being in a vintage car surely made the tour much more charming. The perfect tour!

Excellent tour!
The tour was excellent! Yugotour gave a very engaging and insightful introduction to the history and culture of Yugoslavia. Our guide Yelena was amazing – knowledgeable, clear and very engaging.
We got to experience the charming Zastava cars, the powerful brutalist architecture from the Yugoslavian era and how Josip Broz Tito and his legacy were put in a clear historical and cultural context.
A very well balanced and memorable experience that I can warmly recommend to anyone visiting Belgrade.

The blue train
Did a grand yugo tour that took me to soom interesting places the best was Titos blue train. I was the sole guest and every site was empty which made this day a blast. Maria my guide was wonderful full of info and passionate. She is personable and a great guide and driver all around. She made my last day in Serbia a good one. Had I known about this company prior I might have done other options. Overall great company great guide. A must do if in Serbia

Enjoy a slice of the pasta with a slice of the past!
Yugo Tour gave us a few hours sitting in a car that was the pride of a nation and the butt of a joke at the same time. What a thrill to be in the backseat narrated excellently by Luka about the rise and fall of Yugoslavian Socialism and TITO! Highly recommend any of the tours they do!
