This was an excellent tour! Our guide, Boško, was great. He kept us informed on the itinerary for the day, and he was very knowledgable about the sites that we saw. Golubac Fortress was incredible! No one should visit Serbia without seeing it. Plus, the views from the top of the fortress were stunning. Lunch was at an authentic Serbian restaurant. The food was delicious. Then we took a boat tour through the Iron Gates, which was also very scenic with lots of history. Boško was also very helpful in giving me recommendations for the rest of my trip in Serbia, so many thanks to him for that. It is a long day (about 12 hours), but totally worth it. Highly recommended!

Very nice tour to the Golubac Fortress and the Danube Gorge
The Golubac Fortress and the Danube Gorge are undoubtedly worth a trip. However, the fortress was only partially accessible due to the time of year. The restaurant for lunch was suboptimal. Our guide Jovan is very competent and helpful.

A Great Excursion
This day trip was everything we had hoped for. The Golubac Fortress was amazing and we arrived right at 10 when it opened so it wasn't crowded. Lunch at the local restaurant on the Danube was enjoyable and we loved the boat ride to the Iron Gate Gorge. We had a great guide who really knew the history of the Fortress and the area of the Danube.

Have a good day
It was a beautiful day, the Golubac fortress is magnificent on the banks of the Danube.
The restaurant with a view of the Danube was also quite pleasant, a hearty and good meal.
And for me the best moment, the boat trip on the Danube to the Iron Gates.
The guide Marko, very pleasant, explained the history of this region very well.

The trip was a bit long...

Highly recommend
This was a great trip. Our guide, Johann, was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about Serbian history and spoke superb English. I learned a lot and enjoyed the boat trip in particular.

Not to be missed
A very interesting and intense day spent amid the beauty of the landscape, the poetry of the Danube, and the austerity of the fortress, all guided with care by the excellent Jovan: attentive and thoughtful toward everyone, highly knowledgeable, and with excellent English.
