Perfect food tour to learn about the area around the Byward Market. Great pizza at Grand, Tacos with hot sauce in the market, Tea of choice at the Teastore, pictures at the Ottawa sign, gelato and of course a Beaver Tail with lemon juice, instead of cinnamon sugar. All so good!! Our guide on September 1 was charming.

My first tour was to Byward market. I had the best food tour experience in Ottawa so far. I’ve been living in this city since 2024 and I thought I saw alot and I know alot of places but this tour opened my eyes to many hidden gems inside and around the Byward market. The guide was great, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. Value for money was great. We were 4 persons but the guide made us all feel welcome and answered all our questions and we felt the harmony among the group who bonded quickly which made the experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend it especially to those who want to explore a historic spot of Ottawa but they dont have enough days in the city.
The guide was a sweetheart, her recommendations for places to try were great, and her explanations made the tour super pleasant for us. I recommend it not only to walk through the market but to learn about its history and give more value to what you are seeing, in addition to not taking a chance and trying the best of the market since you go with someone who knows what they are recommending.
