Highly recommend! Carlos was terrific! He was very knowledgeable - his talk about the different facades at the Sagrada Familia was very detailed and informative. He also had a binder with historic photos, and shared videos of Castellers and other points of interest on his phone. We learned so much. Definitely a great way to start getting to know the city.

If you were expecting to gain any knowledge of Barcelona, it's culture, it's history other than a few architects and a few of their buildings you are in for a big disappointment.

I really enjoyed this free walking tour. Our guide Albert was great - very knowledgeable, spoke good English and as a Barcelona local knew so much about the history and culture of the places and sights we went to. The small group size (5 people) was perfect as it was much easier to ask any questions and Albert was always happy to answer. The meeting point was easy to find, communication was good before, during and at the end, I gave a tip. We were also provided with extra info about restaurants and food to try. Overall, it was worthwhile especially if you prefer a small group tour - I definitely recommend the Barcelona highlights walking tour.
