Very nice and experienced guide with a lot of information about the animals and the landscape; the picture dictionary he brought along about the biodiversity in the national park was also very helpful. We highly recommend this tour!
My trip to Udawalawe National Park Srilanka on 29th of January 2026 with Tharanga was absolutely incredible and I enjoyed it very much. He is made sure I got to see all the animals and birds and especially crocodile that I wanted to see in real nature environments. He is friendly and professional and wonderful person. He doesn't know that day was my Birthday because I did not say a word about it. However He made that day my best Birthday outing ever. Thank you Tharanga. I will make sure if I ever come again for another adventure to udawalawe Srilanka, I will book your service again. 100% best service
Safari, many beautiful animals seen including jackals, elephants, mongooses, water buffalo, crocodiles and many species of birds including beautiful bee-eaters. The guide was patient and calm, highly recommended!
We were in Sri Lanka’s National Park and chose among many providers before finally booking a guide through our hotel. He was punctual as agreed and took care of everything. His knowledge of the area within the park was impressive, and he explained a lot about flora and fauna. The meal arrangement was perfect: right by the lake on a comfy blanket—a wonderful experience. We were two guests in his jeep, and he had a binocular and a book listing all the animals to be seen in the park ready for us. He didn’t rush us, was flexible with our wishes, and executed them exceptionally well. This stood out especially because the safari went longer than booked, without him pushing to cut it short. His animal knowledge was outstanding; he respected wildlife, often turned off the engine, and showed us animals in a calm, responsible manner. Overall verdict: Highly recommend for a relaxed, informative, and wildlife-friendly safari experience.
