We had a great experience with our guide Gimhana! Everything from the taxi pick up to the safari itself was exceptionally well organised. We saw so many elephants, eagles, lizards, crocs (and many more things) and Gimhana was able to share huge amounts of knowledge and answer all of our questions. Would highly recommend!
We had an excellent experience with Udawawale Wild Safari tours. Booking online was easy, and our guide Gimhana was in contact by WhatsApp well in advance of our tour. Gimhana knows the national park and Udawawale area well. When the forecast called for rain during our scheduled booking, he was able to arrange a safari at a different time so we could avoid the rain and other tours. During the tour, Gimhana was very attentive, pointing out a large variety of animals that we would never have spotted on our own. He gave us plenty of time to see and take pictures of elephants along the safari road, and allowed us to stop and take in the beautiful lake and grasslands half way thru the tour. Of course your experience may vary depending on weather and seasonal factors, we went during an afternoon in September. But our guide did his best to make our safari memorable. Our driver kept us safe even in areas where the safari road can be a bit rough. We experienced the 4 hour tour we paid for and more, I would highly recommend this tour company to anyone visiting Udawawale national park.
Wonderful experience. Our driver also acted as our guide and did everything to offer us the best safari possible. Highly recommended.

You came all the way to pick me up at the hotel. In addition, they guided me on how to purchase tickets for the national park. Guides exchanged information as needed within the national park, and because a guide who heard information about elephants immediately moved the vehicle, we were able to see many elephants.
