We had the privilege of doing two incredible safaris with Yala Kings Safari, one in Kaudulla National Park and another in Yala National Park, and both were truly spectacular. From the very beginning, Tharindu was incredibly attentive and made sure every detail was taken care of. His genuine dedication and warmth made us feel very well looked after throughout the entire experience. The guides were exceptional — deeply knowledgeable about nature and wildlife, with an incredible eye for spotting animals that we would have easily missed. Their passion and expertise made each safari feel like a true journey of discovery. In Kaudulla, we were fortunate enough to see around 120 elephants together. It was a breathtaking and unforgettable sight. In Yala, during our full-day safari, we were thrilled to encounter two leopards, as well as elephants, crocodiles, eagles, beautiful birdlife, water buffalo, and so much more. What made these safaris particularly special was not simply the number of animals we saw, but the way the guides helped us understand and appreciate the wildlife and its natural surroundings. Yala Kings Safari gave us memories that we will treasure for a lifetime. We are incredibly grateful to Tharindu and his team for sharing their knowledge, passion, and love for Sri Lanka’s extraordinary wildlife with us. A truly inspiring experience that we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to experience Sri Lanka’s wild side in a meaningful and unforgettable way.

The highlight of our safari was without a doubt seeing a leopard climb down from a tree, and we probably would have missed it entirely without our driver, Kasun. We’d already spent a good amount of time watching the leopard resting in the tree and were happy to move on. Kasun thought it was worth sticking around though, as from his experience there was a good chance it would get up around that time and head towards the water. A few minutes later, that’s exactly what happened. We watched it get up, make its way down the tree and disappear off towards the water. An incredible thing to see. That moment really summed up how good Kasun was. His knowledge of the animals and their behaviour made a genuine difference to the experience, and he was also really friendly and a very good driver throughout. We saw elephants as well and had a fantastic safari overall. We’d definitely recommend the company and would happily use them again.

I did a bit of research beforehand into which safari company to go with, and this one had great reviews, particularly for safe driving while still giving you a really good chance of seeing wildlife. We had such a great experience and got incredibly lucky with our sightings. Our driver was brilliant and helped us spot both elephants and a leopard. We stayed watching the leopard for quite a while while he was sleeping in a tree, and eventually we said we were happy to move on so other people could have our spot. Our driver suggested waiting just a little longer because he said that around 8:30 they often get up to go for water. He was completely right! The leopard got up shortly afterwards and we were able to watch him awake, climb down from the tree and walk off. It was honestly incredible and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We were so glad our driver knew the animals’ behaviour so well and encouraged us to wait. Would absolutely recommend!

Amazing experience with Sajee from Yala Safari tours. He made all possible to avoid the crowd of the others jeep and offering us a private tour without being surrounded by the big confusion. He was always very kind and showed us amazing animals. He drove very safely but also with some "action" to make the kids have some fun. At the end we had time to see the sunset in an amazing hiden spot with only 3 jeeps. We recommend Sajee and Yala Safari a lot.

Amazing experience. We booked and reserved online with WhatsApp for an evening Yala Park experience. Super efficient. Then we agreed pick up at 2pm with a Jeep Safari that arrived sharp on time. At 3pm we were crossing the Park gate and the amazing experience began. Our guide (Sajee) was amazing, avoiding crowds and going after hiden places. We saw bufalos, crocodiles, elefants with baby elefants, leopards (yep...we were lucky), monkeys, tons of birds and much more. We ended in a high note with an amazing sunset over a lake refreshed with some watermelon offered by Sajeed. Really amazing. Definetely recommend this tour guide, the guide and the amazing experience. Our kids loved it.

Organizing the safari was effortless, and the whole experience ran seamlessly. We loved observing the animals in the wild—especially watching a baby elephant bathe—and getting an up-close view of a leopard was an absolute highlight! Huge thanks to our driver, who was top-notch.
