Great tour guide/driver would was very knowledgable about the wide variety of animals and had wonderful customer service. We saw a wide variety of animals and appreciate the effort that invested to ensure we saw as much as possible. The safari vehicle was brand new and incredibly comfortable - definitely the best vehicle in the park! Would highly recommend this provider and plan on returning with my daughter ASAP.

Pick up from the port was on time and simple. The company representative was waiting and after checking our names, directed us to our driver who took us to our safari jeep/open air truck, which we shared with 4 others (a total of 6 in the jeep). Note that for anyone with mobility issues, getting in and out of the jeep would likely not be possible. Entry/exit was via a portable ladder that was hung on to the side of the jeep. Before setting off, it was explained that the park accepts card, but the Elephant Orphanage only accepted local currency. So, the driver took 10USD and arranged payment of the orphanage entry. The trip in the jeep was reasonably comfortable. In fact, the open air truck/jeep added to the experience even if it wasn't by any means luxurious. The hour or so drive to Udawalawe was interesting, with Oxen, Lizards and loads of dogs on the road. At the Udawalawe park, the driver helped everyone pay for their entry tickets before we set off into the park. Once in the park the roads were very rough. We were thrown about quite violently in the back of the vehicle. It wasn't an issue though and added to the adventure, but be aware if you have back problems. The safari gave us the opportunity to see loads of wildlife; we saw various birds, lizards, buffalo, monkeys, crocodiles and many elephants. The elephants were not intimidated and approached very close to the safari vehicles. It was a great experience. After spending a few hours in the park, we were taken to the Elephant Orphanage where we saw the elephants being fed. This was very entertaining. The only downside to this was that there are no seats, just concrete steps to sit on. Our group arrived 30mins or so before feeding so had to sit or stand for that time in the heat. So, it is quite uncomfortable. All in all though, a great day out and worth the price paid.

A very good experience with this company. We had a safe driver who was able to spot animals easily long before we could notice them. I would highly recommend this company.

Udawalawe is hands down one of the best places to see elephants in their natural habitat. We encountered multiple herds, and watching baby elephants play was a highlight. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about conservation. The safari was well-organized, and the ride was smooth. Highly recommend this adventure!

Well organised, approximately 1 hour coach journey to the elephant orphanage & then short journey to the park where you transfer into a six seater jeep. We saw elephants only 10 yards away from us, wonderful!!

We were picked up at the port. Drive was almost an hour in a comfortable mini van. Once at the park we got on the safari jeep. The guide and driver were excellent we saw many elephants close up. It was a success. I highly recommend this tour.

Great for families. Perfect length. Saw several bird species, lots of elephants, buffalo's, monkeys,... the baby elephants were a highlight and the safari in the park allowed us to get up, close and personal with some of the elephant families. Wonderful experience!

The baby elephant orphanage was the best. They came out to feed and they were so much fun to watch! The safari was a highlight as well.

This tour was a great experience to see the elephants in their natural surroundings.. The weather was a little wet but overall a great day

The baby elephants are the best. 1 elephant is killed every 1 to 3 days so lots of orphan elephants which is very ☹︎ but they are so so so cute. Great day 10/10
