Fantastic guide and driver. He is the best. Would like to have him on future tours. Very determined and detailed to provide best level of service.
This is a great day trip with Daniel who is a fantastic guide. Daniel sent a welcome message together with photos of his van and the meeting place which were much appreciated. The day was well planned and the Black Forest area was beautiful. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.
This was one of the best parts of our trip to Strasbourg and the Alsace region. Daniel was the best tour guide. He is super friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable about the Black Forest area and the small towns we visited. I would highly recommend him and his tours to anyone wanting to see the highlights of the Black Forest.
Traveling with my three sisters (all in our 30s-40s), and we all agreed Daniel made this our favorite tour! He is friendly and approachable, asking questions and giving suggestions. Even traveling during a record-setting heat wave, he made the experience fun and kept to the shade as much as possible. The hike up the waterfall was moderately strenuous, but considering the amount of elderly people and some small children who made the hike, it’s VERY doable and beautiful. The pictures of the valley and the coolness of the falls more than made up for it! The lake was beautiful, and we had a pleasant lunch overlooking the lake. Frieburg was a pleasant surprise, and our hourlong tour by Daniel was very enjoyable despite the heat! 10/10 we would rebook or take a different tour (if available) with Daniel. If you are prone to motion sickness, be aware that the drive between the Triberg and Titisee is on a twisty backroad, so take some medication ahead of time.
This expedition is totally an experience and was made better because of our great guide. There is a lot to see in a day, but it does not feel rushed and there is plenty of time to experience all the stops.

My husband and daughter and I had a wonderful day with Daniel in Germany’s Black Forest area. We were able to see several areas of Germany including a trip on a lake (the boat trip was optional), a beautiful waterfall and the historic college town of Freiburg which is really lovely. We had free time in Freiburg to eat some Black Forest cake and visit the cathedral and some shops. Very enjoyable!

This was a fun adventure with lots of history shared in a way that kept us interested. The waterfalls were STUNNING. The boat ride on Titisee lake was a relaxing way to spend some time and we learned about the cathedral in Freiburg’s one of a kind history!!! And FYI, Black Forest cake is yummy! Our guide, Daniel was awesome!
