This was a rare opportunity to experience real Edo Kiriko cutting techniques firsthand. The English-speaking guide was outstanding—clear, engaging, and incredibly easy to understand. Learning about Edo Kiriko’s history while comparing it to glass from my own country was fascinating. Many unique works by skilled artisans are available for purchase on-site, making it enjoyable even beyond the workshop itself. The location is also very convenient, close to the station. A wonderful experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to connect with the true spirit of Japan.
