I attended the kite-making lesson through Impact Trips and I have nothing but good things to say. My guide was so knowledgeable and made an excellent translator. The family making kites was very kind, welcoming and patient while sharing their traditions with me. The car ride was comfortable and the local lunch provided was tasty.

Their concept is great and truly needed in Bali. Their trips help local communities, are authentic, and fairly priced. They customized this trip for me, for which I am very grateful. The guide and customer service were super friendly.
The friendly tour guide and driver, along with the fellow travellers I met on the tour, made for some wonderful memories of my time in Bali. On the tour visiting waterfalls and temples, the trek to the waterfall was a welcome bit of exercise for me after such a long time, and I was able to take in the magnificent natural scenery as we explored the waterfalls. Also, when we fed the carp in the pond at the temple, I was amazed by how eagerly they ate, and it was so much fun I couldn’t stop laughing. We even spotted some monkeys on the path leading to the waterfall. Apparently, if you would like to feed them, and have time to spare, you can even interact with the monkeys. If you’re interested, do ask your guide:) I became good friends with a fellow traveller of a similar age whom I met on this tour, and she came to visit me in Japan. I am truly grateful for the friendship I made on this Impact Trip. I first heard about Impact Trip through the digital nomad community. If you’re a digital nomad or simply interested in the nomadic lifestyle and way of working, you might just meet like-minded people! I’m absolutely delighted that I didn’t just go sightseeing, but that I feel I was able to make even a small impact on the local community! It was a very immersive experience, the local guide was very kind, and I loved how she opened her house to us in a very real way, not like a script but almost as if a friend who invited us to her house and showed us everything. We did 2 very nice ceremonies, nothing fancy but very real. I recommend it 100%
