Mel was our tour guide and made for a wonderful afternoon learning about and tasting wines as well as the history behind St. Emillion. Beautiful area and town.

Lovely visit Eloise was knowledgable friendly and cheerful .. the chateaux was beautiful although inside was in need of old but the owners are putting all their investment into the vineyard .. the wine was yummy and he was great explaining how and what to eat with the wine .. a lovely afternoon out thankyou

Great tour out to the Medoc region. Our tour guide Regis was fantastic we got to see what Bordeaux is famous for and enjoy some wonderful wines.

Good with a excellent guide. Gives an appreciation of Bordeaux wine and the various classifications.

We met Eloise with no problem. She drove eight of us out to Château Cote de Baleau. We spent time tasting a few wines with a few snacks which was lovely and we enjoyed. Then we were driven to the quaint St Emilion to discover on our own. We would highly recommend!

Firstly, I attach none of the negative parts of this tour to our fabulous guide Gabriel. He was amazing, very informative, humorous and great company. There was a big event going on at the meet up point so finding the location was a bit difficult but we just called the number in the confirmation message and they were very helpful. The drive to St. Emilion was about an hour away, the van was fully occupied so a bit of a squeeze but still comfortable and had air con. We unfortunately only got 30 minutes to walk around St. Emilion, we didn’t feel this was enough time whatsoever. Then a short drive to the Chateau where Gabriel was very knowledgeable about the processes and the landscape. We learnt a lot. The tasting itself was very disappointing. Our sommelier (I can’t remember his name), was knowledgeable but kept going on his phone and did not feel very professional. We got 4 tasters and a small board of cheese, meat, bread and dark chocolate that paired with the tastings. The wine itself was nice, as was the food, but the experience was no longer than 30 minutes. We were then given an additional 10 minutes to look around the chateau (garden and living room only), before driving back to Bordeaux. All-in-all, we do not feel as though this experience was worth £166 for two people. Gabriel was the highlight, alongside the wines itself and St.Emilion village was lovely, would’ve appreciated being able to spend more time there.

Learned about the region and the wine. Very knowledgeable guide telling us about the history for Bordeaux as well as the history of the wine.

A lovely way to spend an afternoon. Vicki our guide was helpful & knowledgeable. We even had time for a bonus chocolate tasting session in between vineyards

Visited Chateau Cote de Baleau in St Emilion. Beautiful day, very nice guide and good wine - excellent experience. Special thanks to the Lady of the Chateau, she spoke about the wines in detail and has a great sense of humour - best regards from Finland <3

The overall experience was okay, but was slightly lacking for me. Eloise was great and Jonathan at the Châteaux was very passionat, knowledgeable and welcoming. The tour was missing information while we were travelling to the venue. The people who sit in the front of the minibus were being told lots of information but you couldn't hear if you were at the back. Trip could be enhanced with a microphone and more wine history. The charcuterier board advertised is not what I was expecting and was rather lack lusture eaten standing up in a shop. Good trip but could be improved.
