Had an incredible trip! From the pick up to the end my guide Frita made the trip a very fun and unforgettable experience! Knowledgeable about everywhere we went and sharing lots of facts about the local culture. But what stood out most was her sense of humour, never laughed so much on a tour! I have traveled extensively throughout Asia, including Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Taiwan, as well as many other destinations around the world. I can honestly say that Ms. Fitri Sumatera is one of the best tour guides I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. What makes Fitri truly exceptional is her unique personality and ability to immediately put people at ease. She is warm, reliable, cheerful, and highly knowledgeable. Within a short time, she can lift your mood, make you feel relaxed, and turn an ordinary sightseeing experience into a genuinely memorable one. I was particularly impressed by her extensive knowledge of the history, geography, and statistics of Berastagi and Mount Sibayak. Her explanations of the volcanic landscape and ecology were fascinating, detailed, and exceptionally well presented. In fact, her commentary on volcanic ecology was more engaging and informative than anything I remember learning from my geography teachers at school. It is rare to encounter a tour guide who combines such deep knowledge with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuinely enjoyable personality. Fitri is not simply a guide who takes you from one place to another—she brings the destination to life. I highly recommend Ms. Fitri Sumatera to anyone visiting Berastagi and Mount Sibayak. She is an outstanding guide and will undoubtedly make your trip more enjoyable, informative, and memorable.

We had a very enjoyable day with Windy our guide and her driver Ari. They were both caring and spent most of the day showing us around Berastagi, walk up the volcano at dawn, hot springs, visiting churches and markets and shared lunch with us. It was a comfortable ride also and we felt safe and every thing was planned and well organised. Windy was also a lot of fun and loved to take our photos. Highly recommend.

The experience with Windy was fantastic. Besides the fact that she knows a tremendous amount about the culture, the landscape, and the nice places to eat (also important), we have a new girlfriend. Her good humor, jokes, and hard work made it a wonderful experience both on the volcano (with her little brother Ginta as a guide) and on Lake Toba! Thank you Windy!

Had a awesome experience hiking to the top of Sibayak, the hotsprings and a tour around Berastagi. She knows a lot about the environment and takes the time to explain everything.

Wiwin (Windy) is a unique woman and guide. I spent four days with her, both in Berastagi and in the Lake Toba area. Not only does Windy have a wide range of knowledge about the local area and the Batak people, she has a wonderful sense of humor, is extremely easy-going and flexible and made my time in North Sumatra truly special. But there’s more. I came down with an extreme stomach problem and was unable to help myself. Windy immediately jumped into action and brought me to a nearby clinic where I was treated immediately. Had she not been there, I don't know what I would have done. I have traveled for many years and have been with guides all over the world. I can honestly say Windy was amongst the very best, and I look forward to returning to Sumatra soon to hire her again. Highly recommended!

I had an absolutely brilliant experience on the Sibayak tour, made even better by my wonderful guide, Vitri. From the moment we started, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and full of positive energy, making the hike both enjoyable and memorable. The track was a great adventure with stunning views along the way and reaching the summit in time to enjoy the incredible scenery was truly worth it. Vitri shared interesting local insights, kept the atmosphere fun with plenty of laughs and always made sure everyone was comfortable and motivated. The tour was well organised, great value for money and had the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. If you're visiting North Sumatra and considering a trip to Mount Sibayak, I couldn't recommend it more and if you get Vitri as your guide, you're in for a real treat!

My partner and I did a sunrise hike up Mount Sibayek with Fitri. The hike was so much fun and we highly recommend it. Fitri was very knowledgeable about the area, the mountain, and was great company throughout. She made the day! On the way back down the mountain we went to the hotel springs to relax. If you are in Berastagi, this is a must-do activity with a great guide. One note, The climb is not dangerous, but may be difficult for elderly people or those with young children. We felt extremely safe with our guide throughout.
