What a fun combination of history, food, and drinks. Kayan did a phenomenal job of keeping things interesting and giving us a real feel for what makes Little Havana so special. His insights into the area, having been raised there, are really authentic. I especially loved how he had a kind word for everyone and seemed to know almost every local we ran into. The guide is charismatic, knowledgeable and makes sure you have a great experience! He creates a very authentic experience with a breath of knowledge that makes you feel you get more than what you paid for. The gentleman is obviously enthusiastic about history and his attention to detail guarantees you learn so much on the tour. Kayan provided a spectacular experience! We were a little worried that the forecasted storm was going to cancel the tour, but we received a text as well as an email letting us know the tour would happen, rain or shine. Thanks to the the rain, we ended up getting a private tour with Kayan, as the other family was a no-show. Yay! The tour started with a history lesson of the cuban refugees, which was special to us as our family immigrated from Cuba to the US in 1962. Then we had some of the most delicious croquettas and coffee at Party Cakes, amazing. The rain then forced us into a guayabera shop, and thanks to Kayan's relationship with the owner, we got to see an "off-limits" part of the store. GO Kayan!!! We then had our dinner at Old's Havana. Just walking through the restaurant transported us to a time gone by. As for the food, the ropa vieja was outstanding! And for those who know torrejas, theirs is authentic and a nice thick slice. The other stops along the way were each so unique and Kayan was full of detailed trivia, which he swears he didn't make up. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Miami, and if you're lucky enough to get Kayan as your guide, you're in for a real treat!

Kayan was amazing and so knowledgable! He started with a background of Cuba and the Bay of Pigs history and integration into the US, explored the oldest fruit market with delicious sugar cane juice and "Abuela", had my first cuban coffee (never going back to other coffee) and guava pastries, saw a bit of Domino Park and the lovely people who still play, and more! I have gained a new and greater appreciation and respect for Miami and its culture. 10/10 recommend.

We had a great time on the Little Havana tour! Our guide, Kayan, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made everything fun and easy to follow. We learned so much about Cuban culture and history, and the whole tour was interesting from start to finish. We are still talking about it because we enjoyed it so much. Little Havana is such a vibrant place, full of music, dancing, and great energy. It was one of the most fun and memorable tours we've ever been on.
