フィデル カストロの独裁政権からキューバを解放しようとした 1,300 人の兵士を記念するピッグ湾の記念碑。

He is a wealth of knowledge and continuously impressed us with story after story regarding the great influence of the Cuban culture in Miami and the significant role Cuba has played in the history of the United States. Enjoyable. Guide last name Castro. Cuban and very nice/ knowledgeable. Don’t really need a whole two hours but worth the time and $. I tipped $50 for two people. Yours are less booked later in day an even am limited to ten people

Raul conducted the tour in English and Spanish and it was fantastic! He took us to many interesting stops and weaved the story of Cuba into it. I especially appreciated his taking the time to address my Colombian companion in Spanish so she could follow along. In addition to the tour, we sampled pastries, sugar cane juice, and some very strong but good coffee. Highly recommended, especially if you can get Raul!

As noted in the tour description, this is a walking tour designed to fully explore the neighborhood, which does involve standing and walking throughout the experience. Raul helped me see Calle Ocho from a completely new perspective. He was knowledgeable, personable and I loved is anecdotes. I recommend this to anyone interested in Cuban history and culture (and food!)
