Louise provided excellent insights into the history and culture of Auckland and NZ. Our favorite parts included the Winter Gardens, the park with the Savage Memorial, and Mt. Eden. She adapted the planned itinerary to fit in the extra time at the Gardens. The tea and honey sampling at Mt.Eden was a very nice personal touch. Louise demonstrated her extensive knowledge of the various plants and flowers. We would be very happy to use Louise on a future trip.

Louise our guide was great,she gave us a lot of information about Auckland, this was our first time in Auckland and we’re able to get a good understanding of the city. The schedule was very flexible and we didn’t feel rushed, if you’re looking for a private tour I highly recommend it

Louise's Private City Highlights Tour was a fantastic end to our trip. We booked the tour a bit last minute and Louise was able to accommodate us. We appreciated the multiple options that were offered for a start time (most of the other half-day tours we looked at only had options to start between 7-8am or after 12pm) and that we were able to start the tour right from our hotel. Louise was a personable and knowledgeable tour guide - the 3 hours flew by! We liked the flexibility of the private tour as well, as we were able to give some input on where we went - although we did not modify much from what Louise was recommending. If it is warm/sunny, I do recommend bringing sunscreen and wearing comfortable walking shoes. We would absolutely book with Louise again for one of her other tours in Auckland, if we were to return at any time in the future. Would highly recommend!

I had a fantastic tour with my guide Louise in Auckland. We kicked of the day with amazing weather and clear skies. Started off on the outside of the city first. We went to Mission Bay and an incredible lookout where you could see all the volcanos and islands off in the distance including Waiheke Island. One thing that stood out was her incredible knowledge of the island and the history surrounding every location we went to. It was a really immersive and I felt the strong cultural connection. We visited the walking trails of Takaparawhau that included the beautiful grounds of the MJ Savage Memorial, a short hike up to Mt. Eden (Maungawhau) and the magnificent 360 views of Auckland. I got some amazing pics of the Auckland War Memorial Museum and the nearby Auckland Domain which included the Wintergarden and Fernery. We eventually worked our way into to the city and I was introduced to the Vaana Peace Murals, a collection of 22 pieces against nuclear arms and many more sites including the expanse of the University of Auckland. She was kind enough to drop me off at the Sylvia Park Shopping Center and gave me tips on how to get the train back to my hotel. She even sent me a picture of a Stone Weta she took at her home as I've never seen one and details for a podcast on the history of Aotearoa. Ultimately, this was an wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Louise and Your Kiwi Tour when next you're Auckland. P.S. There were great snacks and refreshments too!😉
