My family wanted a waterfall adventure for our trip to Costa Rica and this trip was perfect! The walk was difficult but the end result was worth it. Then we took off for our tubing Yeiner, Richard, and Kendall helped navigate us through the beautiful rapids on our tubes. This was an adventure my family will never forget!
Our guide was amazing!!! We did the waterfall and tubing...I didn't realize that the hike would be reasonably challenging or that the guides would have to paddle us down the river (I guess that happens in the dry season) but we had a great time!
A sensational experience for those who love nature and beautiful landscapes! Preserved native forest, with a lot of shadow and sounds of river with ropes. You get into the water half the time, in a very clean and clear river. You pass through stones and at the end you see an incredible waterfall inside a cave. A sensational experience with an extremely attentive and kind guide (Rodrigo). A tour I recommend to everyone who can walk and have minimal notions of swimming.
Our Christmas guide offered us a rich hike on plants and trees along the way to Leona. It was not only a visual experience but also an instructive one. It respected our rhythm and provided a safe Mood.

We’re so grateful to the Team at Curubanda! We started with an amazing hike with Luis, who engaged the kids with some great educational points along the way, making a challenging hike fun. The kids wanted to do it again! Luis was attentive and protective, constantly ensuring the kids were safe. The hike thru rivers and caves was enchanting…mixing swimming and jumps from high rocks…topped off by the beautiful La Leona waterfall. Thank you Luis… your energy was contagious! After the hike we were met by our two tubing guides El Gato y El Macho….what an experience…while the river was not that rough there were parts that got bumpy but this crew were right by our side. There’s service and the there’s complete care of their client and this team was just that. Thank you Team Curubanda!!

An absolute must when visiting guanacaste…….we came during the rainy season and while the water wasn’t as blue as you can experience other times of the year, the waterfalls were in full force. We also did the river tubing adventure and that was amazing as well!!!! Great company, great people, shoutout to Abi y Johan of whom were our guides!!!!!
