SUCH a great day. Highlight was no doubt Jose and Ian. Both were absolutely fantastic. Super informative, friendly and gave us the full Pura Vida experience. The overall events were amazing too. Only minor feedback was the lazy tubing was a little too lazy for us; pretty much had to paddle to finish the quick little run. Could change in the rainy season, though it was a slow start. Other than that, the rope swing, cliff jumping, the hike, waterfall and hot springs were all 10/10. They were very flexible with timing and made sure we were comfortable the whole trip. Amazing people, amazing trip. Highly recommend.

We had the best time! Our guide was so knowledgeable and the private tour was perfect. It was a full day but not too difficult. One recommendation is to bring water shoes! We learned so much.

This was a great little adventure. It had a little bit of everything you would want on a waterhall hike. Rodrigo was also so fun, patient and encouraging throughout the trek. Diego our driver was very kind and informative. We highly recommend!

It was an amazing day with Jose. We were picked up on time at our condo, Jose was very knowledgeable and took his time with these 2 older ladies. We hiked a path into the falls, had an opportunity to enjoy the water, take pictures, had a Costa Rican meal at a local restaurant which was delicious and finished our day with a volcanic mud bath followed by a nice soak in hot springs. It was the perfect way to explore a part of Costa Rica all while having some time to relax. If you want to support local, don't hesitate in book with Jose. 2 thumbs up!

Super recommended to go with the family the guides of Hiking Guanacaste are super attentive with the children my children were fascinated with the treatment and the experience we had thanks to José in the lioness was super ,always very attentive with us and always looking after our safety thank you for everything

Amazing tour - definitely a highlight of our Costa Rica trip. Our guide Jose was awesome. Our group was 3 adults (mid 40s and relatively fit) and 2 teen boys - hike was challenging at times but super fun and the end (La Leona waterfall!) was so worth it. As we passed some large tour groups all lined up, we were happy we had booked a private tour for just our family - we were able to take our time where we wanted and have some space for ourselves. The lunch afterwards was one of our best meals of the trip and the hot springs were a perfect way to end the day. Won’t forget this anytime soon. Sign up, you won’t regret it!

Diego was our tour guide and he did an amazing job! He picked us up at our hotel and drove us to and from La Leona Waterfall. The tours were an all day event but a ton of fun! The food was good, the hot springs were fun, and the waterfall was beautiful. It was a perfect experience if you are looking to go to the jungle and see a waterfall without having to drive to the middle of Costa Rica. I would recommend this event. Be sure to bring water shoes and a change of clothes.

This excursion was the highlight of our Costa Rican vacation. Our guide, Berto, was a local from Leona Falls area and knew all of the insider secrets including some natural water slides and cliff jumps that added to the adventure. Our tour was just our family which was great as we were able to go at our own pace and have a lot of the areas to ourselves. It felt like being invited into a private oasis and was amazing that we were able to get so much privacy during peak tourist season. Berto and our driver, Rafa, treated us like extended family and by the end of the day we were joking around and giving hugs and felt like we truly had made friends as well as had a great (long) day! Rafa showed us how the locals eat ceviche with a crushed bag of chips which was one of the most delicious things we ate the entire trip. 100% recommend and hopefully you get lucky and get the local legend Berto to be your guide as well!

The lazy river is not very long or interesting but the cliff jumping and hike are a lot of fun. Our tour guides were awesome and we had a great family trip.

Was just an amazing day and Tour. We got to Cliff jump off the 25ft, 35ft foot and we even did the bigger crazy 45-50 ft one! Jose jumped with us too, it was so awesome!! Then he took us white water rafting tubing, got us lunch, then to the hiking to the most beautiful rivers and waterfall!! On the way home he took an extra stop to make sure we saw the Monkeys we wanted to see!! Would love to do another tour with Jose!! He was very personable, knowledgable, and helped us with everything! Just so great!!!
