I booked this tour mainly to go and try the fresh country food and produce . I was definitely impressed. I purchased all 5 cheeses from the Goat Farm that we tasted , 3 jars of honey and also brought olives, olive oil and bread from new Norcia . You won’t find this stuff at the supermarket, it’s so fresh. I was a little nervous around the birds at the beginning, but soon I was letting them perch on my shoulder and take a selfie. Even my 78 years old mother in law was holding parrots. I’m originally from Brazil so this was completely different scenery that I’m used to and an experience that I’II remember for weeks to come. Thank you ☺️

This tour to the Wheatbelt was a jam packed day with so many interesting stops. Not only did our tour guide provide an outstanding service, so did all the staff and farmers we met along the way. I think being in a small group adds to the country charm. I recommend trying the homemade mango gelato at the goat farm and joining the walking tour around New Norcia, my camera roll is bursting with amazing photos.

My wife and I joined the Journey Through the Wheatbelt, and Uncover New Norcia's Past tour with Take You There Tours, and it exceeded all expectations. Our guide was Cara, we had one other couple on our trip so it almost felt like a private tour. Every attention to detail was thought of & there was free drinking water and suncream lotion for us travellers. The drive through the Wheatbelt was stunning, we loved visiting the local producers along the way—tasting cheese, honey, and gelato. You could tell the tour was thoughtfully designed to showcase the best of the region, not just the sights but the flavours too. My wife thought New Norcia was a real highlight as she loves exploring heritage buildings, we found the walking town tour both educational and inspiring. We both agreed it was one of the most memorable days of our perth trip and we highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a mix of history, culture, and local flavour.
