She also went above and beyond to accommodate my husband’s physical limitations, thoughtfully incorporating breaks and making excellent use of public transportation to minimize walking while still allowing us to experience so much of the city. By the end of the tour, we were so impressed with Elvina that we immediately booked a second tour with her. Elvina was incredible! I’m so glad we included this private walking tour as part of our trip to Amsterdam. Her knowledge of the city’s history, its context, and attention to detail make it a very enjoyable tour where I felt like I learned something. We got to visit areas of Amsterdam that I would not have otherwise seen, got to feel like I was a local for a short period of time which was lovely. The guide was informative and friendly. We visited main squares, red light district, canals, and less touristy places. And finished the tour at a local cafe which was perfect for getting lunch before going back to the airport.

We had a short spontaneous trip to Amsterdam. We booked Elvina's tour last minute hoping it would go smooth. Elvina reacted to our booking quickly and was on time. Luckily, everything was great. She took us to the main sights and charming local neighbourhoods, and we even enjoyed a cheese tasting - we couldn’t resist bringing some Gouda home. Elvina was such a lovely host - friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel safe (especially around all the bikes haha). She answered all our questions and made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. Every stop gave us new insights into the city’s history and culture - we learned so much about Dutch life!
