Shan was amazing. From the moment he picked us up, he began to tell us about our itinerary and told us many useful and interesting facts about Kyoto and Osaka. He was very engaging and inquired about our trip and what we had done so far. He explained many cultural aspects of Japan. He proceeded to tell us about the places we would be visiting on our tour. He guided us through the temple in Nara explaining the symbolism of the statues and their poses. His knowledge and willingness to share it with us was astounding. His relaxed attitude and willingness to accommodate our wishes, made our tour more enjoyable. I would highly recommend attempting to secure him as you guide , if possible.
