The tour covered exactly what we hoped it would, including the best highlights of the area. What made it exceptional, though, was our guide, Yash, whose English was excellent, who was friendly and considerate, and whose knowledge of the points along the way was readily available and conveyed in digestible amounts, essential without overwhelming. We felt fortunate to have him as our guide!
Jutt was awesome. He showed us around and was very knowledgeable about the history of the temples and shrines. He even took us to a great place to get sushi. Highly recommend

Yash was great! There’s no way we would have been able to see and do so much without doing a tour like this.
We highly recommend Yash. He asked questions and made recommendations to give us a great custom tour. The weather did not cooperate, with heavy rain at times. But with Yash's guidance,we still had a very pleasant, albeit wet day. He never once complained or suggested we cut the tour short. He did everything he could to makes it as fulfilling a tour as possible. With a private car, we were able to see much more than if we had used public transport. Yash also has a very good grasp of history and is very willing to share and educate his clients. Thanks again Yash. You made our trip to Kyoto and Nara a very enjoyable and educational one.

Yash was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable and accompanied us to each of the temples and bamboo forest to explain all the details. He had great knowledge we would never have known about, and also knew where to park to avoid crowds. He recommended a great place for lunch too, and was a really helpful person to guide us through the day. I would definitely recommend.

Completely recommend taking this tour. Our guide, Yash, was great and knowledgeable about the area and sites. It was summer, so obviously having a car with A/C, as well as being picked up right in front of our hotel is just a huge plus in itself, but add the fact that everywhere we parked we were a block or just around the corner of the site's entrance was a huge unexpected benefit (in time and energy). Yash was also great at pointing out the best places to the the best shots, and having him around was also great as he was able to take the photo. Normally we just have pictures of the kids, but this is the first time we have a family shot in all of the main photos. Plus he was a good photographer. As he's done this a lot, he knows how to frame and the tricks (using pano at the bamboo forest was nice touch and good photo). Also having someone so knowledgeable with the sites provides advantages that a first-timer to the area wouldn't think of - like short cuts or ways to avoid the crowds. For those who don't know where to start or what to plan, would highly recommend. You get to see 5-6 different places, don't have to worry about how to get from one place to the other and picked up and dropped off at your hotel.
