Beca's Culinary tour was amazing! She shares history, personal connection to her family during communism that makes you shudder, and all sorts of food/culinary things. Then lunch at a boutique restaurant where we tried some traditional Bucharest food! We loved Beca and this tour! We now know so much more about the history of this lovely city, as well as where to go for the best eclairs (French Revolution eclairs).
Andreea was an amazing guide who was so incredibly knowledgeable of Romania and its history. Not only that but she brought us snacks from her home and took us to an amazing restaurant that gave a modern twist of traditional Romanian cuisine. The price is totally worth it especially if you enjoy history. Not only did we spend our full tour time but we even went over time a bit due to her kindness and enthusiasm. Would highly recommend her to anyone going to Bucharest
We truly enjoyed experiencing Bucharest’s history and exceptional food with the guidance of Beca, our effervescent tour guide. Beca is simply fantastic. This German-speaking tour by her was as good as we have ever experienced. She showed us some extraordinary corners of the old town and provided us with sensationally good tips for traditional food, local specialties, sightseeing, and typical places in Bucharest. We tried almost all of her tips and were never disappointed. What she recommends is excellent! She knows what is good. We are still completely thrilled by her and really enjoyed doing this tour in German, which allowed us to understand many historical backgrounds well.
