What an amazing experience to help the 5 sensed community understand the community who have to experience their days in darkness. The team on site are gentle, caring and great hosts. A must for everyone!!

An Exhilarating Experience
Staff are so friendly and acommodating. A great tour around the host's garden, house and street (not his real house of course!). It was a real insight into what it feels like when your eyesight has been taken away.

Only by living you realize
I had no idea what I was coming for, nor did I research, I let myself be taken by my girlfriend. I started very shy and afraid, after understanding the purpose I let myself take and I loved and trusted who guided me in the experience. Excellent.

Incredible immersive experience
What a superb idea to give a glimpse into life as a visually impaired person. We had a wonderful time with our guide Carlos, who was kind, funny and very open and invited us to ask questions about how his life was. It was fascinating to have our sight taken away from us for just an hour and have to work out how to instead use our other senses to navigate. Thanks so much for sharing Carlos!

Unexpectedly interesting
I wasn't sure what to think going into this experience, but it was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. I think it just barely dipped into what it would be like to be completely blind, but they answered all our questions & we felt a lot more comfortable in the dark by the end.

Immersive experience that does the world some good
Ricardo gave us an invaluable insight into his life as a visually impaired person. It really improved our understanding of the challenges he and the blind community face but also the joy and beauty he finds in the world. We have been more conscious about things such as pushing chairs back under tables since.

A life-changing experience!
An incredibly interesting experience!
You are led through absolutely dark rooms by a blind person. You see absolutely nothing and need to focus on your other senses. You can ask any questions to the guide, even if you are funny, you will be lovingly answered. Everyone was super nice and friendly. Everyone should have had such an experience. It's worth it!
If you don't book online beforehand, it takes a short 5 minutes to record your data and prepare the rooms. Otherwise it can start immediately.
