Great tour of the Ria Formosa with Victor Hugo as a fantastic guide. The communication before the tour was brilliant and direct with WhatsApp.

The beautiful boat trip was a complete success and offered plenty of variety. The boat captain André did an outstanding job; he was very friendly and dedicated, and his explanations were extremely interesting and informative – even for me, although I have now been living in Portugal for exactly three years. I occasionally have visitors from Switzerland, Austria, and Germany, and such an excursion would be a great option for my guests. Thank you very much for the boat trip.

This is a fun and well run boat cruise from Faro to the Ria Formosa Natural Park and the Islands of Deserta and Farol. Sandra, of Islands 4 You, touched base with me prior to my afternoon trip, and she made sure all the bookings ran smoothly and directed people where to board the boat. I really appreciated her friendliness and clear directions. Andre was our guide and boat operator. He was a lot of fun, was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of this beautiful ecosystem, and he seamlessly provided explanations in English and French to our group of travellers. He gave us suggestions for things to see and do on our stops to the islands of Deserta and Farol. I liked that we had the freedom to wander around and explore these islands on our own. We experienced low tide on the way out, which allowed Andre to show us scores of little crabs along one muddy shoreline. We hit high tide on the way back, which made for an exciting limbo-like ducking under a short railroad bridge to enter the harbor. Minutes later, a train crossed the same bridge we had just skimmed under! I highly recommend taking this boat cruise from Faro!

Beautiful park, lovely boat ride but if you’re expecting to learn about birds and history of the area, this isn’t the tour. Drop off at first island to do your own walkabout, no guide (he stayed on boat), Restaurant recommended by guide ion 2nd island was fantastic though- some of the best fish we’ve ever had! Guide very nice, just not super informative (we didn’t realize this was the expectation). Beautiful day though

The care didn't end with the reservation or even with the tour itself; even after everything was over, she remained available and concerned to ensure everything had gone well. It is this type of follow-up that really makes a difference and makes us feel welcome. During the tour, we were lucky to have Captain Vítor, who was equally exceptional. Besides being extremely friendly and accessible, he showed he knew the Ria Formosa very well, explaining various curiosities, stories, and particularities of the places we passed. It wasn't just a boat trip; we felt like we were truly getting to know the region with someone who loves what they do and knows how to convey that enthusiasm. The atmosphere was always relaxed, close, and very pleasant, making the entire experience even more special. Without a doubt, Islands 4 You is an experience I recommend to anyone who wants to get to know Ria Formosa in a different, peaceful, and very well-accompanied way. From our side, we certainly felt like coming back and, next time, bringing the family to share this experience with them.
