Wow. What a great evening dining with Bedda Matri! Warm home atmosphere with plenty of wine - and a fantastic dinner! He and his daughter were amazing hosts, we had fun conversations, learned some secret cooking tips (and a little Italian), went home full, and made some of our best memories from Palermo. Gracie mille chef!

My husband and I booked a private dinner with Andrea during our honeymoon, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Andrea and his family welcomed us into their home with such kindness and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. They were incredibly hospitable while also giving us plenty of privacy to enjoy the evening together, which we really appreciated. The dinner was amazing. We enjoyed several homemade courses, fresh bread, and excellent local wine. Everything was prepared with so much care, and every dish was delicious. It was such a blessing to get to meet Andrea and his family. Sharing a meal in his home made the experience feel so much more personal than eating at a restaurant. If we ever find ourselves back in Palermo, this is something we would absolutely do again. It was a wonderful experience that we will always remember, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Sicily. From the moment we arrived Andrea welcomed us like old friends into his home, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere that made the evening feel incredibly special. The food was incredible. Everything was prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and showed authentic flavors. You could truly feel the passion, experience and love that Andrea puts into every dish. He also shared interesting stories, cooking tips and the tradition behind the recipes, making the evening very entertaining. This was much more than just delicious food and a nice dinner. It was a core memory that you don’t get just like that when you go to a restaurant. It is worth every penny and is something we’ll remember for long. We went for dinner here in early July and we were honestly blown away. Forget your typical touristy restaurants—the hospitality here is fantastic, and the whole vibe is so intimate it makes you feel really special. ​The chef is incredibly talented; you can tell right away he’s worked in Michelin-starred places. Every dish is beautifully presented with serious attention to detail, but you still get all the real substance of traditional, historic Sicilian cuisine. ​On top of that, they were super accommodating. When we were booking, we asked for a few tweaks to the menu and they handled it for us, no problem at all. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an intimate, high-end experience!

It is impossible to explain in words how amazing this event was for my wife and I. As soon as Andrea opened the door to his home you could feel the love from him and his amazing wife Alessandra! This wasn't a tour, it was like stepping into my Nonna's home. The food was absolutely amazing and made my wife a lover of Eggplant! We laughed the entire time and there was no language barrier. Of course google translate helped a bit. This is a must book tour if you want to truly experience Sicilian culture, unpretentious, full of love, amazing food.
