Title: Simply beautiful! A concert that truly touched us We booked this matinée on a whim and were absolutely delighted. The moment you step into the small oratory just off Piazza Santa Croce, you feel the special atmosphere: old walls, centuries of history and only a few metres between you and the performers. Laura Andreini's voice carried us away. Puccini's "Quando m'en vo" gave us goosebumps, and "Il bacio" as the finale sent everyone out with a smile. The pianist accompanied her with great sensitivity and was just as convincing in her solo pieces. You can tell both of them play with real passion. This afternoon was one of our favourite moments in Florence. An hour away from the bustle of the city that stays with you long after. Highly recommended!

A very beautiful concert in a very atmospheric venue!

We attended as a family of five, with three children aged 22, 20, and 17, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the concert. The whole atmosphere and setting were amazing.

The Concert Matinee was an incredible experience! Our family attended an afternoon matinee while vacationing in Florence, and the performances featuring music by Verdi, Puccini and Mozart were absolutely outstanding. The musicians (2 singers and a pianist) are exceptionally talented! It was a memorable highlight of our trip, with exceptional musicianship and a wonderful atmosphere. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.

My wife spotted this as we and our friends planned our 12 day holiday in Italy. We arrived on 24/4 after 5 days in Rome and 4 in Cortona. This Opera recital experience was amazing and enjoyed by only 9 people who were lucky enough to have picked this evening. The fabulous Laura Andreini as soprano with Marco Maggi playing pianoforte combined to produce an hour of beautiful music from Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Tosti, Donizetti and Arditi interspersed with Etudes by Chopin and Lizt. They need everyone to support these young musicians.

I attended a very beautiful and engaging concert. Excellent choice of songs, all famous opera arias, alternating with impressive piano pieces. Really recommended!
