If you’re looking for one of the coolest hidden experiences in Tokyo, this is it.
The evening started in an adorable Disney-themed bar filled with charming Disney details everywhere you looked. We enjoyed some of the freshest, most delicious caramel popcorn while soaking in the atmosphere before being escorted upstairs to a small, intimate room for the magic show.
And then… Shoya completely shattered our understanding of reality. Our Guide translated anything we didn’t quite get but seeing a mind blowing trick doesn’t require a full language understanding.
I’ve seen plenty of magic before, but nothing like this. Every trick happened just inches from our eyes, and somehow it only made it more impossible to understand. Just when we thought we had a clue, he would turn everything upside down again. The show was interactive, hilarious, and absolutely mesmerizing from beginning to end.
I brought my son, Jon Jon, and we both walked out with the exact same expression: “HOW?!”
If you’re debating whether it’s worth booking, don’t hesitate. This isn’t just a magic show. It’s an unforgettable experience that you’ll be talking about long after it’s over.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10. One of our favorite memories from Tokyo!

Be prepared for a very fun experience
This is a very talented young magician. This is an intimate close up magic experience. There are only 6 people at each of his shoes in this tiny venue. The three of us in our group don't speak Japanese so we really focused on his slight of hand rather than being distracted by his animated quick fire Japanese repartee. We still didn't figure out how he did his tricks. He did sprinkle enough English words into his act so that we could participate in his tricks. I won't tell you what he did, because that would spoil the surprise for you. The show includes loud music, theatrical smoke, some strobing lights and an episode of fire. We had such a good time. We just did the show, no food.
We took a taxi to the venue and our guide Junko helped us get a taxi back to our hotel at the end. She also tried to do a simultaneous translation, but I told her it wasn't necessary, beiwe were so laser focused on his hands.
If you have mobility issues, you should know that there is a very narrow and steep flight of stairs up to the show and there are no hand rails. You will be using the walls for support. There's also another set of steep narrow stairs going down to the restroom. Both Junko and the bar man helped my husband navigate the stairs safely.

Treat yourself to a magical adventure
This is an intimate close up magic experience. There are only 6 guests at each show. This is slight of hand magic. I won't tell you about the tricks because that would ruin the surprises you will experience. The magician is a charismatic, high energy 22 year old. No one in our group of 3 spoke Japanese. The other 3 were native speakers. The magician spoke rapid fire Japanese with a sprinkling of English words so that we could participate in specific tricks. Our Viator guide Junko tried to do a simultaneous translation, but I told her she didn't have to. We focused on his hands and weren't distracted by his words. We had so much fun. This young magician has so much potential.
A few logistics notes. We opted for the show only. The venue is tiny, if you opt to include dinner, I don't know where it would be, probably a nearby restaurant. The show is filled with loud music, bright often strobing lights, some smoke and fire. The most important heads up are the 2 flights of narrow steep stairs with no handrails. One flight goes to the show and the other goes to the restroom. You can use the walls to help you up and down. The bar man helped my husband get up and down the stairs as did Junko.
We took a taxi to the venue and Junko helped us get a taxi back to our hotel. Junko was a terrific guide. We had lots of communications before the event. I highly recommend this experience

Amazing and fascinating magic bar experience!
I joined a tour of magic bar. Amazingly, the magician is officially endorsed by Disney and is an authorized performer who was interviewed on TV multiple times in his youth, making it truly spectacular to watch.
You too, will be captivated by his sleight of hand when you experience this tour!
