This is just an audio guide, no tour. It does include entry up the dome which is from inside the Basilica.

Totally not worth the money. Inquired how to use audio app day before at 1:00 p.m., no response until 5 minutes after meeting time the next day. They sent a QR code and said since they sent it via Whats App, no one would meet us. App didn't work on iphone on safari, told us to use a different browser, no luck. My app came up on Android with Chrome, but when I got in Basilica, there was no sound. Worst excursion I've ever booked. Don't waste your money.

Guide was very knowledgeable and very entertaining. He kept everyone engaged all the time. Very clear English.

The elevator option to the dome is VERY deceiving! It only takes you less than half the steps to the top. Also our audio app didn’t work. The whole dome experience was not explained. The basilica was amazing.

This is not any kind of tour, meet outside they take you in then go and get there next group. Top of St Peter’s dome was worthwhile but getting a pretty rubbish app on your phone wasn’t great

Narrow stairwell getting up to the top observation deck on the dome. We went on a hot day and got muggy and stinky going up the stairs. The view and experience was worth it.

We very much enjoyed the self-guided tour. Be sure to bring ear buds for the audio app. Purchasing a skip the line ticket is the only way to go!

Great views from the top of Saint Peter’s Church. You can actually go all the way up by foot. There are places you can catch your breath. The important thing is to get there not to get fast (in my physical condition that is ok, it work out great!)

Very nice guide. He accompanied us to the elevator to go up to the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, then he gave us our entrance ticket. Excellent experience

Worst experience and not worth a penny spent for a guide. The guide just meets you at point of meeting and does not explain anything. Paid for things I had no experience seeing.
