Absolute animal cruelty! Lion cubs are sedated, all enclosures are way too small, loveless, and only have concrete floors. Animals are partly kept alone. It breaks your heart to see something like that.

Bei der von Ihnen besuchten Einrichtung handelt es sich nicht um einen Zoo, sondern um ein Tierpflege- und Rehabilitationszentrum. Tiere, die sich beispielsweise nicht an die Bedingungen eines Zoos gewöhnen können oder besondere Betreuung benötigen, werden dort vorübergehend aufgenommen und anschließend, sobald es möglich ist, wieder zurückgebracht.
Die Behauptung, dass die Löwenbabys absichtlich sediert werden oder dass die Tiere dort misshandelt werden, entspricht nicht den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten. Die Einrichtung steht vollständig unter der Aufsicht und Kontrolle der zuständigen staatlichen Behörden. Das Wohl und die Sicherheit der Tiere stehen dabei im Mittelpunkt.
Wir bedauern, dass Ihr Besuch bei Ihnen einen negativen Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Dennoch möchten wir darauf hinweisen, dass der Zweck und die Funktion dieser Einrichtung nicht mit denen eines klassischen Zoos gleichzusetzen sind.

Lion park
Overall, it was a really great day. Everything was well organized, and we visited some absolutely beautiful places.
The only reason I’m giving this tour 3 stars is because of the lion park. Anyone organizing or offering a tour that includes this place should be aware of what is going on there. The animals are kept in terrible conditions. They are extremely thin and visibly suffering, which was heartbreaking to see.
Unfortunately, I can’t give a higher rating to a tour that continues to support this place by bringing visitors there every day

However, we would like to clarify an important point: this facility is not a conventional zoo or an entertainment park. It is a wildlife care and rehabilitation center, where animals that require care or have difficulties adapting to zoo environments can be temporarily accommodated and monitored.
The center operates under the supervision and control of the relevant government authorities, and the care, health, and welfare of the animals are subject to official oversight. The purpose of bringing visitors to the center is not to support animal suffering, but to allow guests to learn about and observe animals that are being cared for and rehabilitated.
We understand that seeing animals in a rehabilitation environment can be emotionally difficult, and we respect your personal reaction. At the same time, we believe it is important that the nature and purpose of the facility are understood correctly before conclusions are drawn about the treatment of the animals.

My experience
The trip itself was great, with a good guide and beautiful places. However, the return transfer ruined much of the experience.
We were left waiting for 1 hour on the street with a little child because our transfer did not come on time... Fortunately, at the end their car arrived and took us to our hotel.

Great day out
Great tour with amazing tour guide. The Mosque is beautiful and the waterfall is stunning. The only issue i had personally is, we paid entry into animal park, as soon as you go in we paid to have photos with baby lions. Amazing. They looked healthy, were lively and playful. However, the other animals in the park look horrendous! It broke my heart seeing the state of them and how tiny the enclosures are. I regret paying to go into it. Other than that, would recommend this trip

Amazing 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From start to finish our guide Helene was 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Helene collected myself and family at the exact time we was notified the day previous.
Each stop, mosque, aqueducts, orange grove, zoo and water fall were amazing and Helene kept us so informed throughout the full journey!
The boat ride, and lunch was amazing, all staff encountered were lovely!
A must trip for families, or couples!!
Helene is a dream lady, even our driver was so lovely! Thank you!!

Fun day
A lot seen and done, unfortunately no mosque seen and the oranges were disappointing. The guide was super friendly, but does not tell a story, he only mentions the time you can spend. We booked late, but contact was very neat and well arranged.

Mixed review
Mixed really, some great bits but a really hard sell in the morning stopping at pointless places to buy things. One an orangery which has hardly any orange trees and a big shop, one at a random restaurant supposedly women making bread, another shop. It could be cut much shorter and just have the good bits, mosque, canyon, lions and waterfall. It’s quite a long day stop starting all the time and waiting for everyone to get back on an unairconditioned open bus. Lions were epic but they were visibly tired, I wonder how long they are put to work. Guide was superb. Worth it overall.

Disappointing
We had been looking forward to this day very much. But unfortunately, this tour turned out to be a sales tour. We had several stops to take photos, but at some point, you do get thirsty. You can buy something to drink there for 4 - 6 euros.
The stops were, of course, only there for shopping. Otherwise, there was not much to see there. The boat tour we were looking forward to the most was really short, max 1 hour of boat riding and then 10-15 minutes in the water. Everyone on the bus was very disappointed. An ice cream for the children on the boat costs 5 €. The lunch was just okay. However, they really overcharge for the drinks, of course. There were 6 of us and each of us had a drink. Bam, and another 32€ gone.
We don't even need to talk about this zoo/animal park. And another 5€ entrance fee. You can't see much there either. Except for very poor and neglected animals. Photos with the lion cubs cost another 10€ extra. After that, we went to the waterfalls. We didn't even go inside there. Another 5€ entrance fee. We then went over to the gas station and stocked up on drinks for the trip back. For 8€.
The day was very long. We were picked up around 9 o'clock. And were back at the hotel around 6 o'clock. We sat on the bus for about 6-7 hours.
So now for something good. The pickup was on time. The guides were super friendly and also explained great things. They are just employees, after all. And they themselves are not that enthusiastic about the tour.
All in all, we saw a few nice things. The water was wonderful. Just had way too little time for it.
Absolute waste of money. We will never do it again.
