Super acceuil professionnel a l'hôtel Lanka super coral
I had not snorkeled for many years and was a little apprehensive about the waves. The guide was amazing and held my hand through the currents. It is sad that the corals died in the tsunami. Some places you can see how it is coming back a little bit. A lot of colorful fish and we saw a turtle. All in all a nice experience.
This was the first time I had snorkled wearing fins. To be honest I was not great at it ! But the guide very patient and kind. He was always checking that I was ok. If I was struggling he would take my hand to guide me. I saw some amazing fish, including several gaint parrott fish. My freind saw two turtles 🐢🐟🐠😀🥰
One night before I was approached by the company rep via WhatsApp and they made sure to answer all my questions regarding the upcoming tour. During these talks it turned out that the meeting place was different than shown in Viator which luckily was closer to my hotel. I arrived there 20mins before the meeting time and I was able to start the activity right away. I was in an understanding that this is a group tour and we'd go somewhere on a boat but the snorkeling happens from a beach and at least this time it was just the guide and I. Guide snorkeled with me for like an hour and pointed out interesting things underwater and in the end we managee to see two turtles as well! After the guided snorkeling I was allowed to go snorkel more by myself which was nice. In the end of the activity they offered to take me back to my hotel but as it was only few hundred meter away I decided to walk. They also gave me a complimentary soft drink and I was able to store all my stuff to their office. All in all a good basic snorkeling tour.
It was an excellent experience to snorkle with the fish. Mainly angel fish of all sizes. The icing on the cake was we saw a turtle swimming along as well! My guide was helpful and knowledgeable and I felt safe. My feedback was it lasted 45 minutes which is not what was carded but it was enjoyable none the less.
