The two museums visited were interesting. The Samta shop was ok but I wasn't personally interested. Plus it was raining..

We enjoyed the content of the tour. The guide did a good job walking us through Alaska’s seasons and giving us interesting historical fact. The issue was the transportation. We were the last people to get picked up and could not sit together. We each had about a half seat and my husband ended up sitting on the back tire, basically. The original van broke down and the replacement van was old and lacked a step or handles to get up. A step stool would have helped. The manager promised us a partial refund but haven’t seen it yet.

We had a great time on our tour! Our tour guide was awesome and went out of his way to accommodate us, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The only thing that was a little disappointing was that Pioneer Park was starting to wind down for the season, so some of the shops weren’t open. Other than that, we really enjoyed the tour and had a wonderful time!

We visited a cultural center and the Museum of the North in the morning - both were genuinely interesting. The afternoon featured mostly shopping opportunities. The very engaging tour guide (Jonathan) made the whole day a pleasure though.

Wonderful way to see the highlights of Fairbanks. John was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and made the entire day interesting. He even added a trip to the Alaska Pipeline when we expressed an interest in seeing it. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour that covers a lot of ground and provides a good overview of Fairbanks and its history. If you have more time in Fairbanks, it gives an idea on what you may want to go back to for deeper exploration. The Museum of the North is worth revisiting, and kids would like spending more time at Pioneer Park

My wife and I did this tour with guide Jonathan. He picked us up at our Airbnb in a large van with 8 other folks. Jonathan gave us a tour of the antler arch and visitor center. He is very knowledgeable about Fairbanks history and many of the people who were important there. He then took us to the university museum describing sights along the way. The museum was self-guided. It is well done with a lot of Alaska history and culture. We had time at the North Pole for some Christmas spirit in August. We continued to Pioneer park for free time to visit the many historic buildings, shops, and food vendors. The tour ended just after 5PM with each of us being dropped off at our accommodations. Jonathan knows Fairbanks and he is personable. This was a good way to see some of Fairbanks without a car. Thanks.

Our guide was earnest & enthusiastic - tour ended up being even longer than promised. He clearly enjoys what he does & the interactions and showed all of us a good and educational time and we appreciate it. We were pleased to visit each site, esp. both museums (probably would have preferred less time at N. Pole & more elsewhere ... and maybe getting to visit the oil pipeline, but it was just abiut an all-day tour already). Important & enlightening exhibit at about WWII era treatment of Japanese-Americans in Univ. of Alaska Museum of the North. Small observation of guide - he said "and whatnot" multiple times - not good, as it is filler, indicating less than ideal knowledge of certain aspects.

We enjoyed the itinerary and the guide. He was knowledgeable and personable. The tour bus was comfortable and convenient for me as a slightly disabled person
