Laka walked us through the different areas we could see and let us choose which we were most interested in. We ended up going to 2 extra unplanned sites as we were having such a fun time. He was an incredible tour guide, answering any questions we had about Kandy or life in Sri Lanka in general.
Laka showed us parts of the city we would not have been able to see otherwise. We had an amazing experience and learnt a lot from his knowledge of the city and Sri Lankan culture. I would recommend this service to everybody who would like to see Kandy. Thank you so much!
We had a wonderful day in Kandy with our driver. He took us to various great stops and even made the Ambuluwawa Tower possible at our request. We were particularly impressed by his extensive knowledge of Buddhism and the culture of Sri Lanka. Thanks to him, we were able to make the most of our day. I visited Sri Lanka between August and September 2026 and I was lucky to meet LAKA. Laka picked us up at Colombo airport and was the first friendly face of Sri Lanka for us. The next day in Kandy we had a great Tuktuk tour with 3 Tuktuks for 9 people. It was a fantastic day with a lot of the nicest memories. The botanic garden and the local food centre were the coolest expieriences for me. They were super super nice to the kids which had such fun throughout the whole day. I higly recommend this tour with Laka. Thanks again and hope, we can repeat this once in future. We had an amazing tour of Kandy, Laka was so knowledgeable and helpful, took us to temples, a prison, war memorials, carving centre, coronial gardens and the markets. We tailored the tour for what we wanted to do. We felt no pressure to go to certain places we didn’t want to and tailored the tour for ourselves. Laka had an amazing knowledge of Kandy, Srilanka history, Buddhism and it was amazing to spend the day with him.
