This was one of the highlights of our trip to Hawaii. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about both Maui and astronomy. The sunset was amazing, and I have never see so many stars - you are at 10k feet and above a third of the atmosphere. We're planning to do this again when we go back to Maui in December.

We had a great experience with Trish on this tour. Trish was very knowledgeable and provided all the necessities to make out sunset and star gazing tour AMAZING. The transport Trish provided in her bus was super comfortable and clean and new. Trish was engaging with the whole group and made everyone feel included. Trish provided seats, jackets and gloves which felt very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a comfortable sunset tour and an informative run down of the stars and planets

This tour was perfect. Trish was absolutely the best host, very informative and knowledgeable. She communicated well from the booking until the day of the tour. It's a small group tour so that was great as well. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the sunset at Haleakala and as an added bonus view the night skies.

Trish was a great guide and a wealth of knowledge. Unfortunately on the day we went up the mountain, the weather did not cooperate and we were unable to see anything due to poor visibility. Planning on coming back next chance I get in hopes of better weather.

Highly recommend anyone who wants to experience Haleakala to use this experience. Tricia is knowledgeable and prepared guide. We were provided any extra layers of clothing we needed, as well as chairs for comfort. On the trip up the mountain, we learned so much about the area and history of Maui. I’ll never forget how clear the night sky was. Having an informed guide to point out all the different constellations and planets made it that much better.

Trish was awesome and very knowledgeable!!!! She told us all the stories and facts. She came prepared and got us seated at the best spot for the sunrise. After we got a private tour of the rest of the trails and a look at the stars! This was awesome and I would recommend. Make sure to wear closed toed shoes and pants. It does get cold up there.

Above the clouds spectacular night sky show with a very nice informative guide my fiance struggled a little with the altitude as she is a recovering cancer survivor with lymphoma our guide and others made sure she was taken care of and we both had a great time. Highly recommend this activity

We had an amazing time on the Haleakala Sunset Tour with Star Gazing! The views from the summit were breathtaking and the stargazing afterward was unforgettable. It was awesome seeing both the Big Dipper and Southern Cross at the same time in the night sky. Our guide, Trish, was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable. She shared so much information about Maui, Haleakala, and the night sky and made sure everyone was comfortable (she provided winter coats and hot chocolate) and having a good time. Very educational, knowledgeable, and accommodating—our tour guide, Trish, was fantastic. She reached out on the day of our tour to let us know the weather might not be ideal and offered us the option to reschedule or receive a refund. We chose to reschedule because we really wanted to do the tour, and it worked out perfectly. She gave us plenty of advance notice along with helpful guidance on what to expect and how to prepare, which made everything easy - especially traveling with kids. As first-time visitors to Hawaii, this was exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for.

This was hands down one of the best experiences we had in Maui. From start to finish, everything was seamless and thoughtfully planned. We left right on time, and our guide Trish set the tone immediately—welcoming, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable. Trish truly made the entire experience. The little details really stood out. She provided warm clothes, which made a huge difference, along with delicious hot chocolate (honestly so good) and tea. We also had chairs to sit in, which made the experience even more relaxing. My wife and I felt comfortable the entire time, and Trish made sure every single person in the group had the chance to look through the telescope without feeling rushed. That level of attention really made it feel personal and not just like a typical tour. One of the highlights was that she even took photos of us—and they turned out amazing. Such a thoughtful touch and a great way to remember the experience. Overall, I enjoyed every second of this tour. If you’re even considering a stargazing tour in Maui, this is the one to book. And if you get Trish as your guide, you’re in for something really special.
